Some of the recent 3d prints i have picked up are cleaner and easier to prep than normal plastics or resin. that's because the person that printed them did a bunch of manual work cleaning them up prior to sending them to you. I do a ton of printing; There's so much time spent removing the supports ...

I base everything for several reasons. 1 it adds strength and longevity to the model. 2. they're display as much as gaming pieces so I try and make little thematic vignettes with each formation. The seattle crew all hit the easy button on ours using FoW bases. Basic AV and walkers would fit a small ...

Being crazy here and thinking out loud, but what if I took the top of this P1090534AT-35.jpg ad mated it to the bottom of this? P1090445HK-1L.jpg wouldn't that kinda look like an ironstrider? w/maybe a little plasticard stuck on for strength... edit: you know the inverse parts really make me think o...

i think that the bulk ordering is the trouble. its easy to get 1000 figures in metal cast up. 100 figures printed takes some time and a lot of QC and cleanup

I can respect your not feeling pushy G. Just most of those top tier army painters tend to not really show off their work and realistically will never ping you. Something in the "artist" mindset maybe ;) Also everything you do should have at least 6 different fonts and variable kerning on t...

Good call on the differing schemes per formation. I do something similar myself. 1. It breaks up the symmetry of the army and therefore looks better on the tabletop having more flare (IMO) 2. Helps me and my opponent more easily understand what is what on the tabletop at a glance 3. Keeps me motivat...

As I've mentioned in the past, but you likely haven't seen it, I created the Points Formula system to attempt to bring some semblance of balance to NetEpic Gold. You can find it over in the Alternative Rules subforum. Give it a look at. Yes this. If you go with NetEpic I would strongly suggest taki...

That's not a bad way to compare things. NetEA with 0 real changes can be used to play a WW2 game and would still feel like WW2. It's heavily designed to be a manuver combat game and a community around that is somewhat obsessed with game balance. Actually there's several WW2 lists that do exactly tha...

Proactively pointing out Apoc's Khorne Renegades, Kyuss' Imperial Fists, and Khan's ad mech as amazing armies and modelers that you may want to reach out to. Likewise Dave's Eldar (unsure as to current status) and anything Vaaish wants to show off are great to think about hitting them up!

I can think of a few things that people continually want to proxy these with. I am certain they'll be consistent sellers

yeah it's a good base. Once you block in more colors going at it with a pinwash in all the creases would probably make this phenomenal

With the arrival of he warmarster Titan (which is a emperor class but not a emperator btw) duz.holger, the warmaster isn't an emperor. It sits between warlord and emperor. however it'd make a dandy counts-as model (provided you were otherwise using the modern models for knights and titans) wouldn't...
