While I agree that for many of us *cough* older gamers who feel GW have lost their way and we remember the glory days of Rouge Trader, 40K Ed 1 & 2, bloodbowl, Space Hulk etc I am not entirely sure I agree that they wont be around by the end of the year. Infact, I take your 90:1 odds and put £1...

Thanks Ginger. Still not convinced. my fear had been the scatter too far or off the table. Plus for the cost of spacecraft I always think of other things I would prefer! I have also been pretty lucky in teleport and only once or twice got any BM from rolling ones. Even when I have the addition of a ...

Normally I Teleport but I have seen a number of posts where people prefer planetfall. Just wondering the reasons behind this? I understand planet fall you don't take the potential BM from rolling a 1 on teleport, but this can be offset with a Chaplin. Surely the cost of the additional equipment requ...

I have to be honest and state from the off I have not played tournament games. However I think that the main weakness (if you can call it that) comes from players knowledge. As so many people start playing or have played with the vanilla list they are all aware of its strengths and weaknesses. This ...

Being Otters I presume they specialize in beach landings and water based warfare??

I would go for soft browns, some blue and soft greens. A water/otter fur type thing.

Space Otters. That made me smile. Once you have them painted I presume you will be fishing for compliments?

Haha all good points guys. Although I don't see the division - beers OR wargaming?? Combining the two is one of life's simple pleasures for me. Although I have been told you should drink and dice.

I had a game on Saturday passed 3K Steel Legion V White Scars. White Scars went heavy on bikes and assault marines. 3 Thawks with Assault marines infact, all which made their move in the first turn. First one targeted my death strikes which came to a sticky end as I hadn't put a scout screen infront...

Does anyone have a copy of the rules, wargear etc (ie all 3 books) on PDF they can share? I notice on Ebay its now mondo cheap, but there are a couple of us expanding our retro gaming and a copy of the rules to review first would be great prior to purchasing an old box set. Its been 20ish years sinc...
