For anyone that cares to order here's the product page As a note, if anyone plays guards in the biggerized format of our favorite war torn universe, these guys are eerily close to these wonderful 28mm minis from Pig Iron . It's almost enough to make me stop and reconsider what I am going to use for ... |

Agreed that is not the end solution to do and then suddenly everything's better. Actually most of the points in this thread are valid and forging them into a set of cohesive initiatives is probably a good thing, people have something to work on that interests them specifically, the community as a wh... |

Agreed. Lists should be themed by conflict when possible. When they are more generic they should then have a strong playstyle indicated. In example Siege Assault list vs Minotaurs Chapter is better even though that's what it really is. |

Dystopian Wars Antarctica forces would IMO make great AdMech style forces (especially Ordinati). Here's a painted army with multiple walkers and tanks to show the line. All are currently available from Spartan Games. They can be used as is or easily modified with additional weapons and admech bling.... |

But doesn't this just reduce them to the level of an exarch? How fearsome can close combat stats really be before they become like chaos beserkers? At the moment most of the buffs that the phoenix lords give are pretty engagement focused so would match up well with 40k = an engagement. Oh sorry I w... |

I'd say without. They always have been noted for their iron discipline (Iron within, Iron without) and in my mind that'd translate to flawlessly maintained equipment. In addition, they are noted for their massive use of slaves which fits into your comments. |

My opinion would be that the Leviathan is 0-1. I don't think it should be compulsory, just very commonly fielded in this list. Keep the WH's out for flavor IMO, Battle titans should then be more manageable (BTS bullet magnets then as well). Could have a destabilizing effect on the list that I can't ... |

Unfortunately I really can't make out any details on those shots but I will speak from personal experience that in the jump to 6mm the highlights tend to work better when more extreme than you'd do in 28mm. I was more happy with the results when I'd go for a really noticeable extreme edge highlight,... |

I also need to point out that the closest Epic equivalent to an entire 40k game is a single Engage action by a formation. 40k rules that effect the whole type of unit in a game have a dubious equivalence at Epic scales. Leader special ability and that have some pretty fearsome FF/CC values, as appro... |

18 + 23 + 28 > 15 :D Of course some people might question if 15 codices are required as well, heh However these are fantastic stats to see and I think should interest the community in spending some time really focusing on moving some lists to approved. I know I am going to draw some ire here but som... |

On the models front, I don't agree about proxies at all..... If you'd be happy proxying an EW valkyrie as a storm talon, why not a GW thunderbolt? Actually that's one of the suggestions in the Storm Talon thread. However this is in danger of becoming completely OT so let's drop the ST proxy specifi... |
