Did the form 1 do a good job of printing? Did it produce a good surface finish? Does the gray resin need any special preparation before painting? Is the form 1 easy to work do with? Is it messy? Did you get the separate cleaning tank? I’m in the market for one but I haven’t committed yet. Any inform...

Yeah, i saw that picture on bell of lost souls yesterday. I have to say, all of their coverage of AT reads like GW propaganda. The posts in the comments section call them out for it, but the site writers go through and try to justify the cost (the US cost, not the UK cost) by showing how everything ...

I like them. You did a good job picking out the pilot from the vehicle. I’m doing some up now and I’ve attached some of my jetbike wings to the backs of the walkers to act as those fins that the 40k scale ones have. I was wondering if anyone ever tried to run an army with the maximum number of war w...

I’m sure it won’t take long for someone to generate one of those move templates for a 60mm round or 40mm square base, and then you can just play with the models you already have. I wouldn’t even bother changing the weapons ranges - the scales are close enough that it’s not worth the hassle.

US Prices: $290 for the Grand Master box $60 for the basic rules box $110 for a warlord $35 for 3 knights $40 for the smaller terrain box $125 for the larger terrain box So, not going to get the big box then - I think I would have gone for it if the MSRP was $250 (I'd go through an internet discount...

My biggest issue with Forgeworld’s 2’x2’ terrain tiles is that the roadways are aligned with the table edges. It makes all of the possible combinations look so repetitive and artificial. If they would just offset the roads by 30 degrees then you could hide a lot of the repetition and at the same tim...

How much are gundams? This is basically the same thing, right?

I don’t think the bean counters expect (or even care) that these models will ever be used in a game.

There is a point where a model ceases to be a usable game piece.

I recall an outfit called print-a-part that did what shapeways does now, just without the webstores.

Also, I recall that engineering firms frown on junior engineers using work time to design alien bunkers. But autocad does quite well with 3D design if that’s all you have access to.

You could use a magnet on one side of the connection and a piece of steel on the other side of the connection. Amazing Magnets sells steel slugs for that purpose. As for paint interfering with rare earth magnets - it depends on how big the magnets are. You can do a test by putting a piece of cardboa...

Something else that would help is to have a few more tournament scenarios. The standard objectives are great, but if there were sometimes different victory conditions, you’d see different units on the table.
