I'm not sure what everyone else's situation is, but I'm stuck at home for the foreseeable future and I would really like to take advantage of the situation to get used to playing Epic: Armageddon on Vassal. So, I'm just throwing this out there to gauge the general interest - those of you interested ...

I’m of the opinion that GW’s main revenue stream is new releases. I don’t think it matters what game the releases are for. I think that GW’s big weekly push is how they intend to resist third party manufacturers and recasters. The idea being that once third parties are able to produce knock-offs, GW...

I realize that it is 90% wishful thinking, but some of the choices that GW has made regarding the models in this game make me convinced that they fully intend to rerelease Epic eventually. I base this on the following observations: ⋅ Aeronautica Imperialis and Adeptus Titanicus share the s...

GW announced a new box set and several new planes for this game during the downtime. Imperials will be getting Valkyries, Lightnings, Avengers (all plastic), and Vultures (resin). Tau will be getting Tigersharks and Barracudas. I'd guess that the tau will also get a third (and maybe fourth) plane li...

We all appreciate the work you put into this place. It makes me happy that you’ve managed to keep it ad-free (and sad that the rest of the web has been able to do so).

Keep fighting the code and hopefully you’ll crack it.

A 2x4 LEGO brick. Make sure that the tops of the studs are visible, so people know it’s not a duplo brick.

A rumor repeated on Bell of Lost Souls says that there is going to be an AT Knights battle group box (130 Euro). If it’s anything like the Titan battle group box that they had earlier this year, then I think that will be the most cost efficient way of picking up some knights. That said, I’d guess th...

Wow, people really didn’t like the ‘new’ bases.

Do we have a similar resource for the original Epic: Armageddon rules development forums?

The simplest way to add missile pods to anything at epic scale is to cut a couple of 4mm - 6mm long section of sprue frame and slap them wherever the missile pods are supposed to be . The sprue frames tend to have a trapezoidal cross section that roughly matches the shape of a missile pod. You can u...

I have been going through my collection to see how many models I own compared to the models I want to own and I have identified a few gaps. I know that some of the items I want are available on eBay or on chaosorc, while others can be had from recasters on ebay, and still others are as rare as hen's...

Hey, that’s a Rending Hammer. :P If your gonna use it, at least name it according to the VERBing/NOUN or ADJECTIVE/NOUN or OBJECT/POSSESSIVE NOUN naming convention. I would suggest going ahead and including the void spinner as well. It may have been limited to Biel Tan in the original background, but in more recent background Biel Tan done got blowed up, so I say - let them have cake, er, Void Spinners.
