Thanks chaps! @Dogtrooper: I had a very bad experience with flock years ago and ended up with Marines that looked like they were half-buried in a mound of Smarties. Since then, I've tried to avoid using the "f"-word. I did invest in some GW forest green paint so once I've finished painted ...

5 more days till I try out this scenario! Have turned my thoughts to figuring out which forces to use. One side will definitely be Eldar, but I haven't decided yet whether to field them against Marines/I.G./Squats. I do have Ork & Chaos armies, but they are far from ready to be fielded. Perhaps ...

Hi Chroma, Your project sounds very exciting indeed! I was wondering if you had received any feedback on scenarios from Net Epic players? I've been keen for some time to play some different scenarios for NetEpic but was wondering if you / others feel that the scenarios are easily adaptable for N.E.?...

Really like your building, very smart! I too have just returned to epic after at least a decade-long absence! I must start building some terrain objectives!

I too was delighted to discover this site, it's a joy to find that I'm not the only one still interested in this fantastic game!

They're on my wanted list as well! The problem is that there's just so many things that I've been trying to pick up just now. If only money were no object!

As a teenager I had very limited monetary supplies. This explains the blobby Rhinos (aka Predators), and the crude rapiers. My friend built the Leviathan from some kind of modelling clay. I still think he did a really good job of it. Having recently returned to the game - and now armed with more fav...

As requested, here's my IG army. I know that the stuff that actually is painted isn't painted very well! Perhaps it will give you all a bit of a chuckle!

"Books under blankets" That was something I'd forgotten about! I remember using an old green sheet and using VHS videos & audio tapes as well as books for hills! Thanks for mentioning that - made smile a lot! And some time tomorrow I'll stick my horrid Imperial Guard under that section...

Yep, it was the old green box of I.G. that I'm finally getting around to painting about 20 years later. Back in the day I couldn't give a damn about painting my armies - I just wanted to play epic all the time - but I'm a changed man now! I want to get the lot painted but I've got so much stuff it'l...

That's brilliant, cheers Ulrich! I'm champing at the bit to try out this scenario now! A week on Friday can't come quick enough! The war walkers point is really interesting; along with dreadnoughts they are units which I basically never use! I'll definitely keep this in mind. Given that their forces...
