I have plenty of Space Orks, but I might be interested in the "odds and ends"! Why not post a lost with prices? |

Ah, looking at the article again that is indeed where I got the idea! It definitely "looks right" as a formation (although it might be weird for 20mm square bases). |

I was thinking there could be two basic arrangments, as seen in the diagram. Either the infantry are side to side and both in base contact with the vehicle, or the two infantry are stacked behind the vehicle. Those seem to be the most logical arrangements. |

One man's fix is another man's house rule. Of course, working out what is official and what is not is perhaps not 100% clear, but so long as you can make that claim I think it is OK - so perhaps best to set the bar high. Agreed, agreed and agreed. You are very right, of course. We will need to be v... |

As far as material needs, does anyone have any thoughts about a hosting website? At this stage, we also need editors, writers and art-finders. There is a ton of non-GW 40k art on DeviantArt which is perfectly safe to use in a non-commercial product (for the art pieces that do not have an open licens... |

That's great, thank you for the support so far. At this stage, we also need ideas! What are the things/assumptions about the Epic hobby that have changed in the last two decades? For starters, I was thinking that there should be some language about basing models. Basing has never been a critical fea... |

Certainly. In the following example, the forward Dark Angels Space Marine Squad on the right does NOT have cover, since (although it is in proper formation behind the Predator) there is an Ork unit behind the line between the Marines and the Predator. The second Space Marine Squad on the left (behin... |

In the Director's Cut article in Firepower 1, Jervis mentions that the playtesting team had to ultimately leave out a special rule for infantry seeking cover behind tanks while advancing. While the rule was interesting, he claims that they were never able to find a simple wording that would preclude... |

Brainstorming To get the ball rolling, here are some things I believe we should examine: • Weird unit descriptions. The Shadowsword seems to get a free secondary weapon in comparison to the Baneblade. I am pretty sure this is a typo, and the Shadowsword is meant to have the Volcano Cannon main weap... |

The conversation about Epic 40,000 resources in the magazine thread got me thinking. Like SM2 and EA, E40k also has a persistently loyal following (albeit perhaps a bit smaller). Like those games, E40k also suffers from being scattered far and wide across numerous publications, many of which are ext... |

Thank you. After a little playtesting, I am considering adding the following army special rule to balance out the Sisters' lack of psykers: Purity Seals - The Adepta Sororitas go to battle bearing the litanies of their faith, confident that the Emperor will protect them from any witchcraft or devian... |

Quite alright! I think the NetEpic rules are definitely the ones I am least familiar with. I recently did a reading binge of every version of the game except for NetEpic and SM1. I'd love to see what the NetEpic crew did with the game... The idea of a living rulebook with fan contributions and activ... |
