I think that they would just adjust the most recent rules from 40K apocalypse- which happened to be heavily based on Epic: Armageddon. The apocalypse rules allow more granularity than the current E:A rules. On top of that, I’d say that the apocalypse rules have some interesting solutions to the issu... |

Has there been any specific rumor or stalemate made that says they aren’t changing the scale? Those aircraft models are plastic, and the bases look to be a bit bigger than the original AI bases (as far as I can tell, but I never spent much time with those bases, so my perception may be off). It woul... |

The more I read about the rules for this new version of Apocalypse, the more I wonder what effect it will have on the perceptions of the current crop of 40k gamers as well as on Epic players. It's been 15 years (give or take) since Epic has had support from GW (E:A), and even longer since it was giv... |

Some rules previews have been posted for the new Apocalypse and it seems like it is basically a new version of the epic rule set. It uses 28 mm scale models, but infantry are on multi-model bases that act as a single unit, it uses AT and AP shooting profiles, and blast markers are somehow involved. ... |

I've been scanning eBay for Epic 40k and Epic Armageddon era Eldar models for the past few months, and a couple of sellers keep popping up with items that re-use the same photos. They also tend to have multiple items per listing. Anyway, anyone here have good or bad things to say about them? smiling... |

Hey Jimmy, is that home-made tabletop terrain, or is it 'off-the-shelf'? |

Those look awesome. My question to you is: do you intend for this to be a scale model or a gaming piece? Further suggested refinements if it is supposed to be a gaming piece: ⋅ add a web between the twin linked guns ⋅ beef up the rear portions of the main laser to match the sca... |

What about limiting split fire to the carapace weapons, as if they were controlled by a separate fire control system. that way Reavers could fire one big gun at a different unit, and warlords could fire two.
It’s arbitrary, but it achieves the desired results. |

One idea I had a while back was to allow emperor titans and mega gargants to activate twice. You have to reduce their firepower and movement by about half, but letting them activate twice would eliminate the need for special rules for splitting fire. It would also help with the low activation count ... |

Oh sure, now they’re just falling off trees, but when I wanted some I had to sell plasma and a kidney. Are these the same three that are on eBay right now? |

I don’t think you even need to convert the distances. Just use the distances as-is and just pretend the imaginary giant fighting robots are faster and have longer ranges. |

Did the form 1 do a good job of printing? Did it produce a good surface finish? Does the gray resin need any special preparation before painting? Is the form 1 easy to work do with? Is it messy? Did you get the separate cleaning tank? I’m in the market for one but I haven’t committed yet. Any inform... |

Yeah, i saw that picture on bell of lost souls yesterday. I have to say, all of their coverage of AT reads like GW propaganda. The posts in the comments section call them out for it, but the site writers go through and try to justify the cost (the US cost, not the UK cost) by showing how everything ... |
