I have finished painting Eldar for the year. I spent February, June, and September painting Eldar and now have quite a nice collection of painted models ready for battle. Some of actually seen battle. I have been surprised how quickly these 6mm models paint. I have stuck with a pretty simple paint s...

Yeah don't get me wrong sean_68333, I'd like to see a subforum for it too, but its only been out a week and I think a bit more discussion, games, and lists etc would help a solid case be made for it. Hint, hint ;) Fair enough. I hope to get a game or two in this weekend using the lists I created fo...

Dark Realm minis and Onslaught Minis are both still producing.

Either would work well. Really any 3mm or 6mm miniatures would work.

Or you can get some plastic bugs (I'm thinking ants would work great) put them on some bases and have a go with a few very alien forces.

For all those that are anxiously awaiting my update...

I haven't given up yet. I got tons of Eldar painted in September, but haven't had a chance to take pictures. I hope to get them taken this weekend.

Good work Sean. I appreciate what you've done, and look forward to seeing the others. I've sent Ivan the condensed 'Bootcamps' he wrote to put on the back of his Play Charts page for perhaps a better Reminder Sheet. Tactical Command seems a bit slow about giving LaserStorm it's own sub-heading. Is ...

A rules set generally has to be around and persist in popularity for a bit before it gets a subforum I think. Otherwise the board would be overpopulated with each new flash in the pan ruleset. I don't mean to be a troll or anything, but Polyversal has its own thread and it isn't even out. I also do...

LaserStorm is a new rule set for 6mm gaming. I find the rules to be simple, yet still entertaining. I wrote a short review and AAR of my first game on my blog. http://gamingandshooting.blogspot.com/2015/09/laserstorm-6mm-grand-warfare-first-play.html My next step was to build some unit stats for the...

After having read through the rules, I set out to try them out this weekend. I set up a card table with some terrain and using the introductory scenario provided in the rule book, I threw some Eldar against some Space Marines. The stats for identical armies are provided in the scenario. I found the ...

I also picked up a copy of these and have been reading them. I think the rules look pretty solid, but will need to play a few games to make a final judgment.

Based on what I have read so far, I am really looking forward to playing it.

Another month of work for the Tale of an Epic Gamer is now completed. The orks now have a few more units they can call on during their next battle. Overall I'm pretty happy with what I finished this month. However, I am slightly disappointed in the Goff vehicles. My test model was done a few months ...

More orks for July. Another mob of boyz with Nobz coming soon and a group of dreadnoughts. I've got a mob of Goff vehicles in process that I hope to have done by the end of the month as well. All in all a pretty productive month so far. http://gamingandshooting.blogspot.com/2015/07/tale-of-epic-game...

More Eldar are complete. I finished my June goal and again I'm happy how they turned out. I've got a pretty solid force now, but still need to add a few more units. Let me know what you think; good or bad. More pictures and details can be seen on my blog. http://gamingandshooting.blogspot.com/2015/0...

I recently purchased the Historical Turning Points: Misery PDF so that I could play through a campaign with some friends. This PDF is set in 3028 and covers the conflict between the Draconis Combine and the Wolf's Dragoons at the end of the mercenary contract between the two. The first scenario in t...

Sorry for the delay, but I finally got around to taking some pictures of the completed IG. The NetEpic Gold companies have lots of bases of infantry. I finished one whole unit as well as some tanks and sentinels. Not a bad start to my IG army, but I have lots more to do when I come back to these guy...
