Although, if it's decided to have the Armoured mech force (from Tactica's other thread) this could go some ways to creating that without having to specifically make a new Cadre.... Just thinking out loud. I'd agree on upping the points to 250 though.

The SM Hunter(75pts 4+AA), Eldar Fire Prism(approx.83 AA5+)are costed similarly for better AA values, however, the Skyray has better armour and more weapons systems(even though they have lesser values) so it kind of evens out some IMHO and so long as you're using MLs you still get the 5+ attack for ... |

Is there a need for this vehicle formation? I'm worried it may start looking like a high tech IG list. Of course this is just a first impression. |

YES! I like this additional. Even just for the fact that if I buy 2 packs of 3xHH w/missile pods to represent them I could use the left over 2x |

I absolutely love! the idea Tactica, but I don't want to have to wait for everyone to play test it and slow down the production of the official list I'm eager to get to grips with an official list and am pretty happy (almost) with what's available already. I think the discussions regarding changes i... |

In regards to the Tau spacecraft part of this topic's title, I posted in the other topic about "spacecraft missile barrages". Seeing as it does deal with this topic also should I post a link here for fullness? |

My preference would be to keep the ship we have already(hero) as it is. I don't believe it needs changing at all. It seems fine and in balance to me. Here's my reasoning - Similar ship class Comparison: Eldar Wraithship = 1x4BP orbital OR 1xpin-point 150pts Imperial Lunar Class Cruiser = 1xorbital A... |

Well, I think I remember Jervis describing the smallest of the SM cruisers being 5 metres in length for a game of Epic A Kroot war sphere would be HUUUUGE! Anyway how about a nice little Kroot Nest Egg - I'm sure they plan for their retirement too ?

Yes I am a nice chap - just ask me! ;) ? If I had to say something should change about the Moray I would definitely say the slow firing rule. If you look at the Tau rail cannons across-the-board, none of the other types are slow firing, so the Moray's RC should really fall in line with the others. I... |

Given that Support craft don't carry out air attacks as such, can they be engaged by AA units? The rules state that flak attacks are carried out after an approach move(and also can be carried out during a disengage if not already fired), but the SC doesn't make approach moves. But it also says... |
