I thought it might be a nice idea to keep a thread of what Forgeworld say they have versus what they actually have.... I ordered 2 packs of warhounds last wednesday and they arrived yesterday, the guy on the phone said 'oh yeah we usually have some of those lying around' despite my being told otherw...

so I've managed to get myself a cheap deal on a large Imperial Guard army for E:A, thing is, it's mostly painted, not to my tastes either, and I'm wondering if the usual methods (pine sol, DOT4 brake fluid) are appropriate for removing paint from Resin miniatures? if not, can anyone suggest a suitab...

that's just it, on the same day I have the customer services manager telling me they have none in stock and that there won't be any for a good while, then I call and I'm told they 'usually have some'.....

I'm just curious why keep them 'secret'??

do you dislike the GW models in the chaos warhost set? seems to be plenty of lesser daemons in there.....

just ordered a couple of sets myself.... I wonder why they're so cagey about them..... is it because they clearly make a profit, yet GW doesn't want to encourge SG players... or is it because GW make their own (inferior) warhound model? any ideas? it's somewhat baffling to me..... oh and the guy who...

I emailed them enquiring about warhounds and the reply today said they were out of stock due to several mould quality issues requiring rework, they hope to get them back in stock but couldn't give a date when..... as I said in another thread, I'll call them later this week and see if someone else te...

in case anyone is interested, I emailed forgeworld and the following reply arrived today: "regrettably these models are currently out of stock due to sever mould quality issues, we hope to return them to stock in future but due to the amount of re-work required we don't know when this will be, ...

yeah I assumed that, thanks again! edit: now is there someone who can help me out with orks/ferals? I'm not sure the feral list has enough variety to keep it interesting in the long term, it would be nice to have as a variant option, but seems that multiple steam gargants and orkeosauruses are essen...

also when you give a multiple of something, I assume you mean a formation, so 2 hydras = 6 actual models, but 2 shadowswords = 2 actual models, correct?

how are the Feral Orks in comparison to the normal orks?

Hi, I'm new to this forum and new to E:A, though not to epic gaming in general.... I had large ork and imperial guard armies back in 2nd edition but e40k coincided with me going away to uni and I lost interest and gave my stuff to a kid down the street.... I've always loved epic scale gaming and I'v...

is the shift to resin really going to affect SG that much? they're not moving the plastics over to resin after all, so the smallest and fiddliest SG stuff wouldn't need to change... if they can use the new resin with existing metal moulds, it wouldn't cost them anything to change SG over to the new ...
