Do you think it is time for a rethink for the basic mob? Even with Battlewagons the problem remains but is reversed; Boarboyz only have move of 20cm as compared to the 30cm of a Battlewagon. Time to set the Boarboyz free? Remember, the Boarboys form their own "sub-mob" within the clan, (a...

No worries - I can do a pack of each -- 2, 4, and 5. Just buying two might not be too competitive, though, since there is a flat "handling fee" with each product ordered. Kind of your classical slope-intercept formula. Oh, if 5 is an option I'll be buying them in lots of 5. 2 was just the...

Lots of 2 or 5 work better for me. Particular after the covered "troop truck" looking one, but would probs grab a few of the others for variety.

Is that "an express elevator to hell, goin' down!"? ;D I couldn't fit all that on there....or at least can't paint in small enough font. Chaos was one of the most heavily discussed and play-tested armies during the V5 correction phase in prep for the Gold books. In the end I think pretty ...

I'd certainly grab an assortment of the trucks. Wheels only is fine too!

I don't own a Dreadclaw, Drop Pods, or Chaos Bikes. <snip> I maintain, however, and I think that we're all agreed on this, that Cannons of Khorne should lose the daemon engine rule. My Chaos army started as an old SM2 one...but I've added a few new bits 8) . I use a converted Mechwarrior VTOL as th...

Hey, can you do a de-greenskin gubbined version of those trucks in the original link over on Shapeways? I've been looking for 6mm heroic scale trucks for my Planetary Defense Force for YEARS!

I liked it the other way :)

The gunners so far back would have a heavily constrained field of fire across the prow......though I do like the wider deck.

There are effectively 11 different army lists jammed in the one book, and tbh "goldifying" the Chaos book made things slightly less clear I think. The rules for army construction are all there, and understandable enough if you read them through, but I find the last V5 book the most useful ...

For the first argument I present Fleshounds...20cm base move, 5 for a 100. That's half the board covered 1st turn. Next, World Eaters + a detachment of Rhinos (or two). If you want to get funky, how about a Dreadclaw for them. Heck, go nuts and put the whole World Eaters century in drop pods. Give a...

Oh, it's not really a problem IMO. It is just that other posters suggested Chaos NEVER had the points lead early, and I was pointing out that that clearly isn't the case. When costing the Khorne units you do need to take into consideration all their abilities both with and without the bonuses, and a...

It is pretty hard to stop a Khorne army with Fleshhounds, Berzerkers and Marines mounted in Rhinos from grabbing a bunch of objectives. For other armies like 'Nids and Necrons, Khorne essentially gets an auto win for at least 2 turns. Chaos leading seems to happen a lot more frequently than suggeste...

Pointing in works better for me, though the ball joint idea is gold if you can swing it. Not to be a nervous Nellie, but the list I envisage using these Stygian vehicles with need lots of them, and this is starting to look like a big and complex mini....which usually equates to expensive to produce ...

Gunner looks like a jetbike rider. I liked the original version fine....I can't imagine a gunner needs to lean forward into the wind and grip the seat with his knees :)

Canting the sails in is a neat idea though. That looks snazzy.
