Looks like it would be pretty easy....cover the side ladders with boarding ramps, add a flat roof with some details (panels, vents, whatever), add a forward mounted turret with a defense laser, some side guns and iconography and you would be done. I think I might get one myself :)

And how the hell would you easily scratchbuild the Eldar units i mentioned?? I reckon a competent modeller could take a 40K Dire Avenger and some bits and turn out a workable Revenant proxy in 60 minutes. Before there was a model we used to make Warp Spiders from the pile of spare 1st ed Exarchs we...

I was trying to base them on the FW fluff and description, while doing something that added something new and interesting. O0 Hornet....not sure there is a huge difference between 1 shot at 4+ that does D3 hits, and two shots at 4+. Actually, a quick run through my head indicated the probability of ...

I quite like this for one of the larger Flyers that might fit the Okami design and style.

Actually, it's from the 1/76 M113 from JB Models (a UK company), not Italieri.

So, has anyone developed and play-tested rules for the Hornet and Lynx yet? Using V5.0 as a basis, perhaps (and these are a bit out there based on FW fluff): Hornet: 30cm 5+ +0 Pulse Lasers 75cm 1 4+ -1 Skimmer, Special - Pulse Laser causes D3 hits on a successful attack roll. 3 for 150 or 6 for 250...

I've had the two models in question a little over a year and a half IIRC. They were in a well lit room, but temperatures would never have been excessive. They were alongside stuff done in (the rather horrible) WSF and others in FD and they had no problems at all. The room is also full of FW, Spartan...

Also note that it is a good idea to get primer down on FUD pretty quickly. Some older stuff I had printed in FUD and left in storage unpainted is starting to breakdown. It starts secreting an oily substance and the surface becomes sticky. Washing in anything up to and including isopropyl alcohol doe...

Should add this stuff to the AdMech list! It's gold :D

Seriously though, perhaps if you are doing the Emperor you might want to do a Epic30K list and include all the Primarchs too. I dont think he has a place in NetEpic proper.

You are correct, once on Natural Instinct the Boarboys will only move 20cms. You can get them to at least half way under orders so the 20cms is usually enough to get them into contact with someone though :) Yeah, I never much understood why GW limited the Pulsas to 30 degrees. Having said that, if y...

They look pretty awesome.

Indeed, I find myself with a serious knight deficiency as we speak. Is there a cure?

I would have thought concentrating on totally unique properties like the Sisterhood and Stygians would have made more sense. There are no other competing sources of this type of model, and purchases would likely be in "army strength". For Horde there are lots of similar choices available f...
