A good audiobook or documentary on TV, and a matter of breaking everything down into single, easily repeated movements helps to protect one's sanity. But I wouldn't do this everyday for any prolonged period of time. It is pretty brutal on the neck :) Oh: And keep a good supply of paint and fresh bru...

Yeah. It is pretty much an exercise in speed painting :) White undercoat, Army PAinter Desert Yellow spray basecoat. Airbrush vallejo Interior Green camo stripes. Paint metal tracks and barrels and a few other details. Wash everything with Army Painter Strong Tone wash. Pick out a few details like l...

Tinkering a bit with ideas for the Squat Super Heavies. Looking at the Hearthlord, I've been wondering how to represent the Plasma Laser. The simple solution is to have something similar to the Plasma Blastgun. It is an easily recognizable design, that leaves little doubt that we're looking at some ...

It's been a while since any 40k scale miniatures really excited me... But those german themed Kromlech orks are simply awsome!!!

Iwonder if this miniture would be the right size for a superstompa/small gargant?

Hypothetically speaking: If a set of Squat vehicles were to be produced, how many would you want of each type? From a production standpoint, a mould casts a number of models with each spin, so if several unit types are to be included, one needs to take into account expected sales of each type, to ge...

There's a load of really nice 1/350 scale harbor stuff for model ship builders. The WW2 style industrial stuff should work really well.
Also i imagine some of the Spartan games Uncharted Seas and Dystopian WArs terrain bits would look great.

Yup. that too :) I need to rework a few things, as I made some errors early on, but it is definitely the plan to do some variants and different sized ships :)

Thanks. Well there's a few options. I was thinking of doing a modular super heavy to fill the holes in the NetEpic Squat list. But it might also be interesting to challenge myself with some knight-style robots, just to do something different than the usual boxy tank shapes. Also: Aircraft are fun, s...

Having somebody paying you to do it? :D Seriously though (although that kind of motivation certainly does help), I think the key is to simplyfy things as much as possible and break everythig down into stages. For example say "Today I paint the yellow highlights on all vehicles" and so fort...

Updated the Epic Lounge with images of the newly finished Eldar army.
Apologies for the horrible formatting. The main objective is getting some images online fast though :)
