Been toying with the idea of making the eagle head removable, meaning players could either choose for the 'generic' design which doesn't have the eagle head, or the Legion version which will have the head in front. Personally I'm quite fond of the eagle, it gives the ship a sense of megalomania, mak...

In the meanwhile, I've taken updated the front, added some torpedo tubes there. The ones on the top of the ship have been removed and have been replaced for the turrets.

The design of the turret is growing on me, however...I'd still like to one day replace them for the more spherical ones...

I am very tempted to cut up the model is smaller pieces and then either send it to Shapeways or Ninjamagic. Depending on their time schedule, if I would want to produce the model, I'd like it to be cast by Troll Forged Miniatures, I know the guy running the show is probably one of the best casters i...

Is this an original artwork done by you? or is it a copy of an existing artwork? All this is done by me and is my own design. Be interested to see the prow It's almost finished, just needs the front plate detailed but the sides, top and bottom of the prow can already be seen. 0.1mm detail is printa...

In the meanwhile...

Started working on the prow, meaning that the main design is almost finished. Just need to build the front plate of the prow, and add some additional details to the distortion engine and exhausts area...

I've been thinking about the details, and well... I'm making the ship rather detailed, in some cases the final version will even have 0.001mm parts. Which is all very cool of course, but you wouldn't even be able to see it. So I was thinking. I'll keep making this model super detailed, and once it's...

I've kept the turrets as they are for now. I would like to change them because I'm not that happy about them anymore (even though they're probably the best turrets I've ever drawn :P) Need to ponder a bit more about that I guess! :) Here is the latest update on the ship by the way: LINK - Because th...

I've been toying with Philip Sibbering (who used to do artwork for GW, but has also been reinterpreting the 40k universe) on creating a new setting/framework named SCIROR. These ships are part of that project. More on that, and their background can be found in this discussion. The thread delves into...

For years I've been wanting to create my own ships. I started scratchbuilding some Ork ships (see some of those results here ), but after that I stopped building ships for a long time. Now with the wonderful opportunities of 3d printing and CNCing, I decided to give it another shot. I've always been...

Man that ship looks really amazing! Got a picture of that one next to some existing models, just for a sense of scale. :)
