| In a recent game against the dreaded Necrons (boo hiss !), a question came up about the use of Monoliths. Specifically, whether broken Monolith formations can still act as a portal ? Because of the small size of the formation (four), they do become broken quite regularly in our games and this quest... |

| Have to disagree about the hydraphant not being the BTS to be more effective, your activation count would be less than 9 since two formations would be at least 1125 points. | If the Tau lose the whole formation is fearless while the Ethereal is with them and so neither unit suffers extra casualties for losing the assault (though conversely the whole lot auto-breaks if the Ethereal dies). Yes? Only happened once in games I played using Tau but this is how we interpreted... |
