I'm sorry to hear about that. They always seemed to have a lot of potential in the small-scale games market.

Just wanted to note that most of those popular ideas were in the EW ruleset which was designed to be a clean room update of EA. People wouldn't play it because it's not epic. Unless you get something from GW there's going to not be any consensus. If Neil had taken charge after they stopped supporti...

I believe that macro weapon should be a weapon attribute rather than a weapon type, so that the guns that are currently just macro weapons could instead have different AP and AT to-hit values. I.e. a MW4+ could instead be a AP4+(MW) and AT5+(MW) or maybe be a AP4+(MW) and AT3+ (with no MW for AT ta...

That's some nice shading!

I think those are autopistols though.

Wow the new stories are terrible. The Cicatrix (galaxy-spanning warp storm) had potential, but Baal is the northern half that's supposed to be cut off from the rest of the Imperium yet Guilliman flew there to save the day against the Tyranids. Not only did he cross the warp storm, he also managed to...

Never did bother with anything other than the cardboard markers (yeah, booooo, hisssss). Not seen a game of BFG being played for many years, what do/did people do with torpedoes when you reduce the number? I put a d6 on the cardboard counter to show its strength, but maintained the salvo's effectiv...

I think the Trukks and Junka Trukks, and any other LV transport should be able to have the transported unit shoot from it. They are able to be shot at by AT and AP weaponry, and thus have areas (holes and portals) where the troops on board can shoot from. This goes for all Light Vehicles - Raiders ...

Novan elites Pathera class heavy frigate now in store. http://vanguardminiatures.co.uk/shop/novan-elites-panthera-class-heavy-frigate-x-2/ I'm glad they show up as "Panthera" in the store! Without the 'n' the first thing that came to mind was the Spanish word "patera", which is ...

I don't really buy that idea. Me neither, I was just grasping at what straws I could see. It's at least left open as a slight possibility. Just note that HH is staying in 7th according to them. Latest word is that HH will use the 7th edition rules for a little while longer, but only because they ne...

Something to remember is the original Titans were 1/500. While the rest of Epic started out at 1/300, along with a little scale creep as time went on. If you look at the original SMs, Orks & Eldar. That came out with SM1. Compared to some of the later cuts. So for those that want to get the new...

Yeah, it'd be great if they were more than just oddboy delivery systems or a vehicle that you promptly swap out for a flakwagon.

I agree with tan. Your army is a cool and somewhat dark color so you want to contrast it with a warm and light color.

For very fine sand I'd go to a pet store and look in the reptile section. You should be able to find it in bags that aren't too big, but will have more enough for an Epic army.

They're now called the Ordo Sinister, which is disappointing as it ignores and re-writes the old background from Titan Legions for the Ordo Sinister (back then they were a titan legion composed just of 12 Emperor class titans with no connection to psi-titans) which I rather liked. If it helps any, ...
