I love the plated design, but for me the FW models win out simply due to their finer detail... otherwise the older design is far superior - those plates make the tank a lot more imposing, like it could actually take some fire whilst offloading a load of troops into a firefight situation.

Aha... tis the Lammasu then, and what a beast it is. I reckon the sculptors were smoking some seriously good stuff when they dreamed it up! Ork painting continues apace, all the metal and flesh areas are done which makes me happy - they've turned out well considering they are the first Orks I've pai...

I'm done with uni at long last and in between looking for modelmaking jobs (anyone want to employ me?!) and being a lord of leisu...

Scuse the lack of updates....   My final year of uni is nearly over and I'm on the runup to my degree show and exhibition, so things are pretty frantic. I'm working on a 1:100th scale exotic superyacht model which is fun but pretty complex.. the deadlines are looming rather! I'm working on some o...

Thanks for the postive response guys.   I'm away having fun here until Monday, so have a great weekend/rest of the week one and all. Ooh, and Van - TTA ships are soon to be back on the bench. I have castings of three Piranhas and three Minnows to paint up before my degree show which is just ove...

And finally!   My final trio of Necromunda gribblies; the nasty looking Millasaurs. Super simple paintjob again, just a few layers on the greens and likewise to build up the bone shades. I then washed the claws and plates with the old Flesh Wash, and the fleshy bits with the old Green Ink, which ...

Here are the other spaceships...   This time it is a little squadron of some Homeworld inspired models! I know a few of you frequent the SCN forums and I'm sure you'll be aware of a chap who goes by the moniker Zandris IV - he produces some lovely little miniatures which bear more than a passin...

Heh, I won't keep you waiting any longer, here goes! These are the first ships in my fledgling (or should that be hatchling? ) Krayt fleet for Hostile Stars; a pair of mighty TwinBlade cruisers and a pair of agile Dark Knife frigates. Cheers Doug for hooking me up with these! The TwinBlades are awes...
