first strike attacks (CC or FF) are resolved just like normal, only as their own sub step before the main rolls. roll CC and FF first strike attacks as normal, then allocate front to back as normal. Once resolved, move on to normal CC/FF rolls for any dooders left. |

Posted my list over yesterday (1k sons). I don't actually /know/ where the models are though, other than somewhere in storage, what with me being in the middle of moving house. Hopefully won't end up proxying everything! |

Plague tower new stats/points cost is from the consensus from this thread and yes, the +5cm move is for exactly the same reason as for Gorgons. The list already has the new summoning rules first published in the Black Legion list, allowing undivided to summon any daemon at a 2 to 1 ratio and even al... |

I also played Brumbaer over the weekend, and I found him a perfectly pleasant opponent. We even had a rules disagreement that was quickly and amicably resolved (something to do with allocating firefight attacks if I remember right). I can see how his real time dice commentary could be grating but I ... |

Yes, technical is not really unheard of. Perhaps the terminology is a bit too bland for the grimdark, but it is definitely well known and accurate. However, something along the lines of "Improvised SPAA" would work as well methinks. Their core transport is called "land transport". |

Personally, I chose Necrons purely as they're the army I commonly play under EpicUk rules that closest matches their NetEA equivalent. Tyranids are completely different, as are Thousand Sons. Orks are obviously virtually identical but I'd want to paint up some new units to play how I'd want. I never... |

Good spot; will be removed. Also noticed Contagion Towers (they're not a tower, dunno why they're called a tower, especially with an actual Nurgle tower in the list as well) have a Mv of 25cm, rather than the correct 15cm. Both will be corrected for next version. Had a game last week with this list ... |

If only they could lurk about and put a blast marker on something!
Removing all shooting from a unit (no matter how innefectial it os) is a massive change as the ability to place blast markers is critical for prepping for assaults and caputuring and contesting objectives turn 3. |

V0.2 update added. LatD redux v0.2.pdf changelog: All references to Stigmatus removed and changed to generic Cultist. This is most likely a placeholder. Core Cultist Covens increased by 25pts and Daemonic Pact added in as standard Plague Tower move increased by 5cm, points cost reduced by 5pts and a... |

Shadowswards are awesome against everything; in this particular case sniping the nasty bio war engines or 4+RA carnifexs etc. After that, Stormswords with all their Ignore Cover and disrupt are going to be better than Baneblades. In fact, I'd take Stormswords instead of Macharius. |
