5 Predator formations: Very much like this. 5 Predators feel about the same effectivness as a Warhound so should acomplish making them a workable alternate for Warhounds. "Breaking" peoples existing collections should have no impact on this decision Scout Land Speeder transport: I really l...

Not I want it. What is a weapon's stat even in epic, should follow to a reasonable degree what that weapon can do in "big brother" 40k. The Tau Railgun, at Str 10 AP1, is held up as the premier tank killer, yet is only AT4+ in epic. I think many people simply don't know what the demolishe...

Vindicator: The demolisher cannon IS a macro weapon. No, the Demolisher cannon is (at best) on the borderline between what should be a macroweapon attack and what shouldn't. If chaos has already have lots of macro, why don't you take away some of their toys? If they have alredy that much. That is t...

MikeT just asked me a good question... are 4 vindicators better than 5 land speeders? if not, why are they costed more? Well you would compare them to 5 tornadoes? Speeders faster, have skimmer, more firepower when sustaining, but worse firepower when doubling, more so firing into cover, not as goo...

Not really MikeT. We can rename the weapons to get around that by design. But they are literally the same weapon, made in the same factorys, to the exact same designs. Hell, if there should be any difference, then the vintage 30k era Traitor Vinidcators should be built with better technology and so...

So, is this the point to equip the chaos vehicles with different weaponry, due perhaps to differing development / tactics etc since they turned to Chaos?

Sorry, not allowed; The ERC have decided that is verboten.

one solution would be to rename it to 'vindicator cannon' or 'vindicator siege gun' then we can avoid having our changes creep into other lists (unless the other lists need it) Or just accept/assume Marines have access to different ammo types than standard Imperial Guard regiments. Also, does the D...

If newer aircraft stats are causing problems that's down to them and they be statted more appropriately. GlynG, mate that comes across as the thought process / attitude that is causing the issues of late. Not really. If the current situation is that existing aircraft work fine with the existing rul...

WW I forces didn't have to face power armored chainsaw wielding supermen, or super fast bio-engineered killing machines, or any of the other 40k staples, all intent on jumping down into the trenchs. Maybe if they had, they would have decided that positioning trenches closer together to more easily e...

Why? I don't get the need for this.

Yes, this would work. Someone, make is so.

I'd love to find some way to make marine armor formations equally as attractive as a Warhound, so taking a Warhound (or 2) wasn't such an obvious choice. Does anyone think 4 Predator Annihilators are worth the same as a warhound? If not, then how many? 5?

I'll check, but as far as I know, I copied the new daemonic summoning rules wholesale from the new Black Legion list direct into the Lost and the Famned redux list; that was certainly the intention.

It aligns perfectly with fluff and wont overpower a still relatively expensive and niche marine support option. Jim Whirlwinds are specifically light, highly mobile artillery which sacrifice the range and hitting power of Imperial Guard artillery for speed and ease of transportation. Additionally, ...

Alternating activations, yes. Positioning plays a much greater role, flanks and rear have lower target numbers to damage then the front arc, so an attack that could just whiff from the front can cause damage from the rear, forcing disorder checks (disorder is brutal in this game). Objectives can onl...

It's pointless calling a team team Wales if no one in that team is going to be from Wales. This is not a complicated idea. If four Welsh players had decided to enter as a team then I'm sure they could decide to call refer to themselves as team Wales. As this isn't the case however, this is all a com...
