Forum: NetEpic   Topic: Using Adeptus Titanicus Models?

I use the new large Titanicus titans alongside 6mm models in my armies and they look good together, they're pretty common these days at the UK Epic tournaments. You can potentially use the same set of models to play both AT and AI as well then (not that I've bothered with either of these yet but may...

I would use any of the existing guard lists. I don't see any need for a dedicated list for them. They have different looking uniforms but don't have any 40k rules or distinctive characteristics or anything to differentiate them gamewise.

It can be a bit daunting for a newer player to know what to do against a war engine army. Standard tactics against low activation lists like titans and gargant are to break and kill the weaker formations to reduce their number (i.e. playing against your list put the effort in to killing the Supa Sto...

I've heard a similar rumour, though according to what I heard all the infantry and vehicles will be forge world resin and not plastic. I've bought plenty of the new titans, knights and aircraft but however nice new 8mm 30k space marine models will be I think I'll skip them and stick with my existing...

I notice there’s a mistake in the Tournament Pack. The stats for the Death Korps of Krieg Medusa should be 60cm 1BP Disrupt Indirect and not 30cm MW4+. It’s why the Medusa in the Krieg list costs 275 to pay for these stats while the Minervan vehicle mounted Medusa costs only 150. This isn’t some new...

like this? https://vanguardminiatures.co.uk/shop/cybershadow-heavy-grav-apc/ Like a similar but much smaller version of that? The tank you link to is a bit large for a Chimera at 6.5cm long? It's a great looking model but think it would be more suitable for the Epic UK Admech Gorgon (or the transpo...

It's a shame Vanguard don't yet sell a proxy for the Skorpius Dunerider (the hover transport the Skitarii use in modern 40k) as this could make a good model to use for one. Vanguard have released a great looking Admech Gorgon proxy and a couple of mainly 30k era Admech tanks but that are a bit big a...

There's a recent discussion on one of the epic facebook groups with some people wanting to get epic games and tournaments going in the Glasgow and Falkirk areas. You might be one of the people involved in that chat already for all I know but if not go get in touch and network with people there? Ther...

Who is actually championing the list these days? I've lost track. It would be good to push forward with it. I'm vaguely aware there is intended to be an updated Epic UK LaTD list in a year or two for similar reasons and hopefully the two could be similar or the same. Firelord aircraft: The D3 BP of ...

Good to see another update to a faction that has long struggled to win :) After multiple updates the core Berzerkers formation looks to be a strong formation now, with 8 plus 4 Rhinos for 275. Plus their new doubled assault special rule. By focussing on improving these has the internal balance gone ...

I agree with your post generally Kyrt. From what I remember the Australian players and meta won games a lot more through shooting than the rest of the world which primarily wins Epic through assaults. The rest of us were a bit puzzled and thought assault based lists and tactics like are common here ...

Yeah it irritates me that the Epic AU crowd decided relatively recently to create their own spin-off version of the the EpicA rules and rewrite loads of areas of the rules on a whim. We chatted about it in my local gaming crowd (which includes lots of the UK Epic tournament regulars) and the odd cha...

I’m intending to work up a more streamlined Net-EA Horus Heresy legion list in the coming months (a single tournament focussed generic legion list and probably not bothering with all the many variants). I have put a lot of thought into how to go about it and I have plenty of local epic veterans up f...

Good to see you back Frogbear :) I visited you that one time in Oz many years ago. These boards are the right place still but the boards are very quiet these days compared to how they used to be. Locally we still have a lot of epic players and various new ones but a lot of people have gradually move...
