Many of us in the UK find it a bit baffling and unnecessary the Australians came up with a new heavily modified version of the rules. In the UK we're happy still using the original Epic Armageddon rules, they may not be perfect but they are very good and better to stick with what everyone is used to... |

Or to put it another way, you can't get into and out of a vehicle as part of an assault move. If an infantry stand starts inside a vehicle then the vehicle can move it's move and then disembark the infantry within 5cm for the assault. It is risky to leave infantry in vehicles though as if the vehicl... |

Veeeeery slowly - 5cm move. So yes but don't expect them to win any races? |

If you've lost the drill parts for the two you have maybe the option of converting giant barrels on the back and calling them Golliaths could be your best option? |

Ah ok, odd that you're keeping the two lists. I know in the UK there is an Epic UK LaTD revision coming that is basically going to strip out most imperial guard elements from the list and do some balance tweaks, but that it will replace the existing list not coincide with it, so I assumed the same w... |

Onslaught should have you covered for this I would think Mosc? I think it's just the remaining 3 giant superheavies left to complete the Grudd but I think I saw him say he plans to do some Grudd 3d modelling soon so hopefully he'll complete them in the not that distant future. You buy them from him ... |

Why not just drop the redux part but keep calling it the LatD list? I don't see any need for a new name. It's an experimental version of the LatD that has proven itself and is now replacing the old LatD but it's basically a revision of the same thing so the name should stay the same. Lost and the Da... |

There are 3d print files for Hammerheads out there if you're desperate, though rather low quality models. I can't really help much otherwise. Though I'd probably avoid A-X-1-0s anyway. They're very fragile for their cost and I've not found them worth taking (perhaps if you're playing a 4k or larger ... |

I've played dozens of Tau games the last few years and vaguely wondered about this too but never got round to asking. That makes sense, not appropriate for Tau to be launching big assaults. |

Oh no! Sorry to hear your wife left you Dan. Think you said you only got married a few months ago.
Oh well I guess at least you’ll have more time and spare pennies to keep flying to play at the Epic tournaments? |

Do you get a blast marker for, failed dangerous terrain, leaving a unit behind, sacrificing (chaos), standing too close to a blowing up war engine, taking a crit that causes a wound (if you are the war engine). Definetly one to agree in advance. What I have seen in the UK, is that blast markers are... |

Ok thanks guys. I'm still a bit unclear and was hoping it would be possible to do - and I was assuming I'd get a BM for leaving the vehicle behind in orbit out of formation - but reading the other linked thread it seems like it's probably not allowed (no definitive consensus there but most seemed ag... |

I've got a pdf copy of the AU lists on my phone I could email you if you PM your email address?
Some of the locals here in Bristol are getting into Epic and are more keen on the 30k lists so I've started playing them some for the first time recently. |

Is it allowed to planetfall a formation that has a unit that can't be deployed in this manner and just leave this unit left behind unused in orbit? I expect this would cause the formation to arrive with a blast marker due to the unit left in orbit being out of formation but it may still be worth it ... |

Others have answered the first few questions well but for question 4 most people I've seen play it as as a part of the base needs to be within 5cm but it can mostly be placed outside of 5cm. The original rules didn't specify on being wholly within or not and the FAQ in the tournament pack says playe... |
