So what changes were made from BL 3.7 to the version sent to SG?

For champions I have used the Chaos sorceror model with his staff removed and replaced with a sword. Death Wheel - loosely followed Warmaster Nice's method of  circular bases back to back with spikes from the 40k chaos vehicle accessory sprue Obliterators - old metal SM robots Defiler - cental ...

I think I've taken the Champion and greater daemon 4 times and of those have 3 times managed to summon it - the other time the unit, chosen I think, was broken before they could activate. Perhaps you need new dice? I rarely take the Champion/Greater Daemon as I think the 200+ points necessary (icon,...

Not to the extent that Schumacher has - and many of his actions are not questionable but downright cheating. The acceptability of ramming people and suchlike was started by Senna and Schumacher took it to another level. Fortunately the new wave of stars - Alonso, Kimi, Massa and the future stars - K...

For me Schumacher falls into the same category as Senna - a superb driver but somebody who had no sense of fair play or regard for those around them.

Regarding the SMvTau scenarios I would query how much can be learned about the Marine list by playing an experimental army
This seems to be a common issue recently

I think virtually anything can be supported in some way by the vast amounts of contradictary fluff GW pour out. From what I remember of the Grey Knights novel don't their tactics basically consist of running at the enemy? As for the Heresy novels the Marine engagements depicted there are often using...

Whilst I don't believe that the current proposed marine tweaks (armor -25 points, vindicator stat changes) are much, if any, help towards making a non air assault SM list effective I don't support this major overhaul of the Codex Marine list. I would like to see the changes take the form of larger t...

While having a look at the old SG forum I came upon this IG variant which I remember catching my attention at the time but seems to have been lost with the forum change and the author (trentbartlem) being AFAIK MIA So in an attempt to resurrect interest in what I think is an interesting list - Cadia...

Is there any news about the Black Legion supplement? I know there is not going to be a swordwind style written supplement but I was under the impression that a Speed Freek/White Scar scale supplement was  going to be forthcoming ie. bit of background/back story, army list , unit lists - stats, ...

As for mud-marines being a sub-optimal strategy I believe that is how it should be - SM are a rapid strike air assault/drop pod army, but it it is too 'sub-optimal' at the moment to a point where it just isn't practical to include any of those units. If you compare it to IG the only units(excluding ...

If, in a tournament game ie 2700 or 3000 points, a SM player is willing to field a LC (350) filled with Predators(275) I am assuming as support to an infantry unit - say devastators (250) then they are putting nearly a 1000 points in one initial activation, even without the infantry thats 625 points...

Well I see it every time SM armour is fielded, how exactly can you effectively hold your baseline with armor or suppress flak? I also play BL and I have yet to discover how they are a competitive choice in that list. I really don't think its true that there are more AP weapons - just from the last c...

If a unit works well I don't see that means it automatically has to be increased in price. Yes Warhounds are effective - 105cm range but they are also fragile if effectively targeted. Their proliferation in Sm listsn , In my opinion, has more to do with the dearth of alternatives than their being un...

Neal Hunt - that is precisely my point - these 25 point drops do absolutely nothing to encourage use of 'weaker' SM options. Why would any SM player take LRs instead of terminators with a character? what can LR do ? to actually shoot anything they will have to wait for targets to come to them before...
