insomniac > I haven't spent enough time there to gauge the atmosphere, but I admit I kinda like lurking on TacCom, even if I don't play a single game now that BFG is away :). Well, today more of little thingies, ordnance for BFG (why take tokens when minis are so much nice looking ;)) : Melnibodean ...

OK that Kar Duniash pattern battleship is so much win. GIMMIE!!!!! ;D Thank you. ATM it is way to expensive I think, with such volumes 3D printing is a rich thing. You mind if I cross post that to our sister board on SG games forum (tends to be the center of BFG nowadays) Well, GW kept the SG forum...

As for casts, I still can't achieve a correct mould :). These blues are discarded versions of the final pieces, printed for test. Better use these instead of throwing the away :). As for painting, if you wash it as you have to do for resin castings, it's OK. Just have to work with thin layers, since...

Are the transports one-offs or are they going to be cast? I notice the names are molded on. Perhaps it would be better to leave a blank nameplate and paint the names on, so you don't end up with entire Squadrons of Voss Light or Sibylla named boats. You're right on this. I set the name on the maste...

Large?

Neat transports.

Large ? The size of the transports ? 4,5 cm long, 1,3 cm wide at the engines. A bit longer than the GW transports.
