Everyone else on the thread seems for it, While it is not completely true, as now Scarik is against both changes and some others are not interested in deleting LR companies like they pretty much are with your proposal, that about what you wrote in that part is the main reason I have posted in this ...

While your answer is clear already, Largo_W, i think he is talking about the No Garrison rule you copied from Eldar's, which nullifies the normal rules for formations eligible for garrisons. He is asking if formations with extra units not listed on the No Garrison rule can still be garrisoned. For e...

Two new formations isn't going to push this list into the kitchen sink category. Yeah, bad wording from my part. What i wanted to say is that back then the intention was probably to make lists thematic and focus Minerva on the RA units, which it actually is, and they left the lighter tanks focus to...

Just thinking, does someone here remember why Minnerva hadn't been added no Griffon or Hellhound formations back in the day? To avoid kitchen sink lists maybe? I think we should work taking into account that first. A Destroyer Tank Hunter’s 40k stats don’t at all justify titan killer – it’s nowhere ...

I am of the opinion that it is better to make what we have work instead of working with something different. So make Leman Russ companies more viable rather than to completely modify one of the basic parts of GI in EA. Also, if it isn't broken don't change it, or don't kill flies with cannons. I thi...

Yes it is interesting and entertaining, even though it feels a bit unfocused sometimes.

I specially like how he explains it: [...]Detail don't really matter [...]not at this scale[...]

I do not know enough about example lists to offer advice but i am interested in this. Detachment size is a whole discussion topic in itself, arguably more so than in EA! Is there any articles you can point to about this? I do not remember reading much of that in the WD and other magazine's articles,...

@Abetillo I am in southern New Hampshire. Right now I am primarily concerned with figuring out painting 6mms (sooo tiny). You can check https://www.tacticalwargames.net/taccmd/viewtopic.php?f=59&t=28070&p=533872&hilit=New+Hampshire#p533872 for an idea about the Northeastern US area, but...

Good work. That looks useful for new players. By the way, have you though of adding a photo of the unit to the back of each card. They have lots of blank space which could be used for new players to identify the units and there is some webs from where you could get them relatively easily. Also, for ...

Welcome to Epic, Pocho Azul. Hopefully my brother and I will find opponents other than each other (gets boring playing only one opponent, all the time). Where are you from? The community is a bit hidden so it is easy to miss people nearby.Maybe we could help. That is useful info. Basing for Armagedd...

I have gone into transparent bases myself by accident, when trying to find the cheapest material to make some, and i am gravitating more and more towards them. They look cool, they integrate a lot better with anything else, i save time on painting, and even GI/SM tanks on bases do not look that much...

Yeah, exactly as IJW Wartrader says. A bit tangent of that, but i have been wondering for a long time why basing vehicles is something recent and why it has been increasing with the time. Could it be related that we got influenced by the official magazines where it was not based and now as the years...

Turbo-Laser and two missiles. It is a 45cm AT Bomber. About the other, as you have guessed from me wanting to use those two or the Wyvern for Thunderhawks, i prefer size to a scale number, so FW ones are too big. thanks for telling, anyways. If going to buy Epic ones, i would be more interested on m...

image_2021_05_06T17_28_24_617Z.png Interesting. These two could make a interesting Thunderhawk Close Air Support for Scions of Iron apart from for AI2. Why not just use the actual TBrick to base it off? Just need big bombs underneath. Got those already modeled if you need some (DM) That would be th...
