Hi folks, thanks for all the replys. Im actually quite confident in the basing paint scheme im doing. I have a large 28mm admech army (@arcade81 for images). Im looking for details to add to the bases to give them more life. Industrial sector, ruins, rubble, pipes, skulls that sort of thing. My them...

Thanks for the input guys. I like the idea of using cork or cat litter as rubble, as this is something i do in 28mm. i will try to experiment with those.

Ive also decided to try to use wire to simulate pipes on some of the sparse infantry bases. I will take some wip shots and post some pics asap.

Hello, ive started a 6mm project and im looking for advice, inspiration on how to make my bases more interesting. In 28mm i use scenery and skulls and things, but im struggling here.
Its Mars themed so flock isnt really an option. And im using round bases if it makes a difference.

Thanks for the advice Mr Gonzo. I prefer the units in the warhawks list. Specifically the grav glider, and the the marauder acting as a troop transport. Do you think the army list is less balanced than the Vannaheim list? The latter seems too stale for me. Just men in choppers. Since im a newb, im h...

I've never played epic before but i've inherited quite a collection of epic models including an E:A rulebook. So to that end I've decided to build a 3,000 point list and join t...
