size comparison of some choices Thanks for this. Would you mind ID'ing the models from left to right? I'm having trouble recognising some of them (which I imagine is down to some conversion work/chaos paint job), especially ones which look similar but slightly larger than each other. From left to r...

These are fine proxies, too, maybe a bit expensive:

Really nice. You are right that the price is a bit of a killer. 8 quid for three and I'd be sold! I assume they are roughly the right scale?

Good to see a picture....i hope the Vanguard Miniatures - Cybershadows Warcrab is a little bigger but not taller. I like the height, but for me defiler should bee bigger than a SM Land Raider. Just a bit.... Found a picture of the cybershadows warcrab in action by a user on this forum (@ringo). Not...

GZG spider drones? Those look pretty cool. As it's not the stock photo I see on their site, can I assume those are yours? Got an idea of the size of them? Ground Zero Games - V15-84A Spider Drones http://shop.groundzerogames.co.uk/index.php?_a=product&product_id=1533 http://shop.groundzerogames...

I think you'll find the dzc prowlers too small. I'd recommend looking at the stalker. You might be right there. Found their original site: http://www.hawkwargames.com/products/prowler-pack Apparently they are ~12mm tall each, which makes them about the same as a rhino (although they look longer/wid...

Hi guys, I'm looking for some models to proxy as chaos defilers (I've seen some cracking scratchbuilds around, but they all look a bit too fiddly for me). I've been compiling a list of what I consider some of the best possibilities, and was looking for some feedback or other suggestions. Vanguard Mi...

I never used to be a fan of mounting tanks, etc. on bases, but I think I'm going to try it as I'm coming around to the idea. Mounting small tanks such as rhinos on UK 2p pieces looks pretty good to me. I think it makes them a bit more sturdy and less likely to get accidentally knocked out of positio...

Small note, nothing to do with the actual list (which I haven't had a chance to try yet, but have read through it), but for fluff reasons here it is. There is no Dark Mechanicus. What used to be the Mechanicum pre-heresy, became known as the Dark Mechanicum post-heresy, the Adepteus Mechanicus was w...

As someone who only just recently got back into 6mm gaming, I'm sorry to see you go as I had been planning on ordering some stuff.

Your Exodus Wars infantry ranges will especially be missed (especially for Necron players!).
