Really loved going through this thread. As everyone says your painting is awesome and it has given me lots of ideas and inspiration, even if only a small part of it is within my grasp it really gets me going seeing it all.

Thanks man for posting it all!

Going through Vaaish painting log I can really see what the "Pure white highlight" can do to epic miniatures, and even if Im a little scared of trying and failing it I am really interested in trying it out now. I do think i'll go for the standard of painting I have acheived so far for the ...

Getting bogged down in needs and have to's has been slowing me down, but at least I got my first terminator formation done.

They look real nice en masse, and the bases really fit them good, thanks for the tips on that one, would probably have gone cityfight otherwise.

Been a while since my last post sadly. But on the upside I've done exactly as kyussinchains said. I did go into massproduction and also tried out a highlight of only emperors children on one tactical detachement. Not really sure if i like it or not, so therefor all of the others are of a lower state...

I've tried following the advices coming in, but still a little conservative on the highlights. These are done with a mix of 50/50 genestealer purple and emperors children (puple/pink). to me they look good for a tabletop standard so thinking I will lave them as is for now, and complete the army to t...

Thabks guys, really nice friendly crowd on these boards. Will try some textured paints then, so far all i got is gw blackfire earth, and that one is brown, and kinda hard to use, only tried it out once, but i found it hard to get the sand pf whatever is in it onto the brush. But it should suffice if...

Nice, Razorbacks and predatorer too.
Thanks for the tip.

As far as terminators go, it can be summed up as beeing inneficient to need to chase the best opponent for them to hit on the board as opposed to just picing a torget and hitting it at will?
Seems reasonable enough, thanks guys.

Yes, make the terminators their own formation with a chaplain upgrade (you want to teleport or fly them in by thunderhawk. Well i have seen this before, but could you Please expand a little on the subject? I do not mean to question your knowledge, I just want the rationale behind it to ger to know ...

Thanks for the replys guys, much appreciated. Looks like a decent starting point, it might be worth getting a hunter in there somewhere if possible, you'll have enough options to play around with a few different builds (split the termies and land raiders into separate formations, buy a spacecraft an...

Hi guys. So as i just started on my very first army for this seemingly awesome game, I tought id get me some sort of goal to build, or mainstream paint, towards. I have a friend willing to try it out too and if my so called real life permits I'm interested in attending a tourney in may. So, if that ...

Will try that Thanks, in the meantime I have gotten the whole tactical up to the same standard, as seen in this pic. I use a base later of averland sunset followed by flash gitz yellow for these areas, and I think its working allright. But could probably be better. Tonight I will start on the suprem...
