Since Trollz released the Necron Wraiths, I am thinking that they can be easily added to Tocos Necron army list by making them have the same stats and cost as Lictors from the Tyranid lists. I think it's a simple way to add the unit without complicating things. What do you think?

I didn't think of starting from a Baneblade, thank you! I am working through Toco's calculations and trying to come up with something.

Epic Armageddon introduced a new type of Gorgon troop carrier that I'd like to use with my third edition rules. It carries a ton of Imperial Guard and is substantially bigger than the original one. Does anyone know how I'd calculate the points cost and stats for it? TUTB makes a decent proxy they ca...

Thanks Pete! Commander Karth- I'll upload more pics later. We called it a draw, but Chaos would probably have lost. He was down to 22 morale at the end of turn 5 from his start of 62. I was still at 40+ with my Imperator and a three Bandblades + Stormwind so I probably would have pushed him off the ...

Escalating engagement scenario Imperial Guard supporting an Imperator versus a mixed bag of Chaos demos, cultists and marines. I went for a very firepower-oriented Imperial guard force of two companies of footsloggers with CC/firefight support, a fast-moving company of heavy weapons supported by LeM...

Yep. There were four issues before they introduced the Adeptus Titanicus II rules in Epic 40k Magazine and started doing parallel development that eventually became EA.

According to the rules published in Firepower and White Dwarf, there are options for the Dark Angels special units. I am putting together an expeditionary force of a few detachments that will consist of a battle company cross attached with some Deathwing and Ravenwing as allies for my IG. According ...

I've never had a problem with too much fortifications- plus I think it's cool when the defender can fall back to second and third lines. I think that it's up to the attacker to have a strategem to deal with them-whether it be with plague towers, air troops or artillery. If the defender goes too nuts...

I don't think it's a dead game, I just don't want it to be a dead rule set where it languishes, but I also don't want to change the basic rules which make the game so great. I think I've floated this idea before but didn't want to commit, but now I want to move forward with it. I am calling it "...

I'd love to read your thoughts on it! I was thinking along the same lines except I feel that Chaos Space Marines should be available as support, much like with IG. The thinking is that they would act as "advisers" to stiffen the ranks. I am also putting forth that this forum offshoot shoul...
