SOren: Your loss - though I feel as if you were never gonna warm to things anyway, so at least you were straightforward enough to say as much now. Jstr19: I'm gonna go with the 4+ Disrupt for the burst cannon - how abut 4+ armour with Invulnerable Save representing shield drones on the 29 stands? I ... |

If I add in the distinction, the 250 for the air cav will not be optional. |

Okay.
I wonder if there is a way to list the Scouts option in the one data sheet - it seems like a waste to have a whole new data sheet done up for each kind.
Maybe Scouts (airborne companies only) in the notes section? |

Wow, that's more wins than I've had with them! Thanks for the feedback - I guess it wouldn't hurt to go with 250 and see how things go. I wonder, though - if there is to be a divide between the Scout-ness of Grenadiers on the ground and Grenadiers in the air (which I'm not 100% sold on right this mo... |

Ilushia: *Those support groups have the same upgrades available to them in the T'au list as they do here - where they count as support formations, too - so I'm happy to keep them. *Well, I'd assume the RA factors in the drones on the stands, too - the loss of First Strike is part of the indication t... |

Hena: *3 Hydras is the same level as for the IG list, so I am happy to keep them as they are. *Thanks for the catch with the markerlight platoon. *The intent was that the O has a less effective set of burst cannon, due to the use of the plasma rifle - but perhaps dropping the 29's shots down to AP4+... |

Well, markerlights are handy when getting the most out of the air caste formations, too - Barracudas and Morays, for example, can use them to boost their direct fire abilities and to make use of onboard guided missiles.
Well, not often in my experience, given how quickly my Tetras like to die...

E&C: Need to go check IA3 - I thought the withdrawal of the Titan squadron precipitated a withdrawal by the hitherto-advancing Imperials, though I guess you'd be right if the AdMcch had enough time to extract the wreckage, they could do so. Interestingly enough, though, the general withdrawal from T... |

A few pics with the Custodian: One of the neat things about the Custodian is that you can see three custom grav hooks in the bottom part of the upper hull for fitting Warden escorts - and the Wardens actually fit really neatly, too! Very nice. And even though it's, ironically, dwarfed by the Demiurg... |

As opposed to the salvage from that Warhound on T'ros? There's no sign of an Explorator fleet being sent to recover that - and surely the salveageable wreck of a Titan would be higher on the AdMech list of priorities... Even the AdMech can't get away from the issue of how strapped for resources the ... |

(Ilushia @ Dec. 03 2007,20:57)QUOTEEven their starships are very flat and aerodynamic. Yeah, since the Explorer, Merchant, Orca (the other Orca), Defender and Hero are such elegant designs... ...well, I like the Hero's design, personally, but she ain't as pretty as a Protector, or the beautiful Cus... |

Ok, so would the following modifications: *250 points for Grenadier formations *Tank Company only available if: -the SC AND One of either *an Infantry or a MechInf formation are taken *Super-heavies only available if Tank Company is taken be acceptable? I just noted that there already is a restricti... |

I'm thinking of perhaps restricting some of the armoured units in a manner that would require the fielding of Infantry formations to use them. For example, I could have the Armoured Company only available IF you take a unit of either regular or mechanised inf - or, alternatively, the SC. (Might make... |

Well, the idea was that these regiments are being raised as the first generation of humans from the world in said system to fight for the greater good - and that the decision was made to try and work with the kind of structures that would have been used by the locals, and shift them over time - whil... |
