| It's also more a case of prove that the Reserve Fleet can get daemonships because it explicitly says so rather than assuming it's available because it isn't explicitly stated. |

| Orks don't really bring the dakka. Not like the 40k ones anyway. I think they should really give Orks more WB firepower as well as turrets and revert the Ork Fighta Bommas rules to that of the regular fighter turret suppression rules. I don't think the reason of "Orks getting more attacks than the e... |

| Quote: (Antonious @ 26 Mar. 2009, 21:24 ) As to the 16" shells vs 18" shells, why is it that every person studying Naval engagements seeks to look at the raw destructive power of weapons as opposed to their ability to hit and their compatibility with the technology at the time. Harking back to ... |

It could be a long... |

| Quote: (Antonious @ 26 Mar. 2009, 21:24 ) Well then you are stating the main reason for German tanks getting bogged down as being the Russian Winter? IF that is the case the Russians in that combat environment ended up with Quality and Quantity which tipped the balance and allowed the Germans t... |

It SHOULDN'T be able to out match every opponnent. Playing Eldar, no problem take big gun boats (of which you have plenty of nasty ones!) Playing S... |

| Antonious: Falklands, again a conflict between a battle tested nation vs a novice in warfare. I did not contradict myself. The problem with the French Admiral was from the start he believed he could not win. So no matter how much quality and quantity you give anyone with that mindset, he won't win. ... |

| Look at all your examples. Nations that have, at the points you mentioned, been mastering the art of war. Sparta and Britain. Which was my point. Yes, they used good tactics, esp the Spartans and the fortifications at El Alamein and the human factor is as important as the tech, especially when the e... |

| Primarily peaceful people will always have less effective weapons than those who use weapons on a permanent basis. Example would be German tech in WW2 vs American tech. Now, sure they might have a technological advantage but as Stalin says, quantity has a quality of its own. Quantity will almost alw... |

| Actually, I don't get why Tau would have such a capable Army considering they are supposed to be "peaceful" in their expansion, unlike a truly dedicated and ruthless expansionist race which will need more powerful weapons to subjugate their prey. That is a mistake of Tau in 40k. In BFG, it actually ... |

| There's quite a few stuff in BFG I disagree with as well. Eldar managing to avoid the area of effect explosion of a deviated NC shot. BMs affecting WBs even though the BMs are on the opposite side of the ship and not in the firing ship's line of sight. Apocalypse getting the thruster crit as long as... |

And in most miniatures games, fluff does not equal rules, whether they be a genre of kilometers long ships duking it out in space or genetically engineered humans which can conquer planets to steam punk warjacks being controlled by magically endo... |
