QUOTE [quote="Bombot,May 22 2008,15:37"]If that were the plan then, well 'the plan', makes no sense at all. ?Why go to all the trouble of rearranging the setup just to have to delete it later? Yes well that clearly wasn't 'the plan'. |

(Dwarf Supreme @ May 22 2008,15:16)QUOTEI'm trying to be optimistic about this change. Having SG on the main GW site is theoretically a good thing, but the pessimist in me is saying that this is just a temporary move until SG gets canned completely. If that were the plan then, well 'the plan', make... |

Anyway - and this is probably as much a reason for my instinctive optimistic reaction regarding this announcement - whatever happens to rules support it's pretty clear that the Specialist Games ranges are not in imminent danger of demise. That was what some were fearing a year ago. |

Articles and whatnot can be maintained by third party websites. It's really no big deal.
Ok, you can name downsides, but the upsides are far greater...that is the point. |

CS Edit: Lets not throw stones here guys. Different people have different methods. Thanks. Got to agree I'm afraid. I asked specifically if help was wanted with proof-reading and was told it was all in hand...and out went the 'final' version complete with typos. Suppose it makes it look more l... |

I believe that pricing issue is some dollar / pound mix up (happened to Leman Russ tanks or something the other day). Don't worry about it. Look guys, if Specialist Games are going to gain more prominence then the pay-off is you lose the ability to tweak at will. That's just the way it i... |

I'm sure the fringe lists will be maintained here.
EDIT - I'd strongly recommend against a 'net:EA', by the way. The player base isn't big enough to stand fragmentation.

(CAL001 @ May 22 2008,11:03)QUOTEWell I think that it looks ok for our future, we have seen little to nothing really come from the last two years apart from fan based stuff. QUOTE I don't think that the Chaos presence on the web rules set will be gone for long. Well I hope so.
Between Warmaster and Forgeworld and the Chaos boxset, there's a perfectly workable range of Chaos models. |

I'm replying to this thread instead of E&C's, as I feel his is unnecessarily downbeat (sorry E&C ).
This is good news I feel. GW finally deciding that maybe the ugly stepchild has some intelligence that people like (hmm, stretching that analogy maybe!). |
