As you have already been adviced, yea, ghaz is your best list. Anyway battlewagons are not trukks, trukks can only be used by speed freekz, meaning battlewagons can deliver a ton of firepower, unlike trukks. About the "air assault" It is not mandatory, it is just to much fun to do. Anyway...

Thanks for the advice guys. The wish list would be loads of Boyz in Battlewagons (which are basically Trukks, right?) screaming up the field and being scary, supported by cool Orky stuff which can certainly include Titans, Stompas, vehicles and jets but just no Landas or air assaults please. I've pl...

Hi all, I have a friend that I'd like to introduce to Epic, and I know he used to love his Ork 40k army. I'm looking to buy him a force that meets the following criteria, but I don't even know which Ork list to use to do it, let alone which units :). Please help! - Army based on large units of Orks ...

Thanks for the feedback guys. I'm not particularly pushing for anything - just ruminating on how Warbands could be improved. If that's being disruptive, I apologise.

I can clearly say that there will be no new special rules.

Thanks for that clarity. Does that also mean no changes to existing special rules, like Mob Rule?

How about a "Mob Up" rule for warbands? A broken warband can move into cohesion with another warband and merge with it (permanently). Or perhaps a rule that lets them use them use the combined size of all warbands within 15cm of the formation for the purposes of "Mob Rule"? Edite...

I don't know about this idea; some of these tournaments require a 4,000km flight and that would be a long way to go with an army that has a chunk missing. I don't think you've thought this through. All you need is someone to run a local tournament for you the week before you fly. You could call it ...

Different troop quality is one element of more standard rules formats that is frustratingly absent in E:A. Unfortunately the rules mechanics do not have quite enough granularity to represent this sensibly, other than the through the use of different troop types which are actually an admix of weapon...

I just wish it looked more like a company. Well, you don't have to deviate that far from that list to get an army that's built around a battle company . Yes, quite right and that is what I do, though the poor old assault marines of the company are always represented in the Speeders or on Bikes. Sti...

Also it's a good thing my knights will be on custom oval bases then, as I can place some sideways (arcs allowing) giving other knights better LOS.

Oh God, another reason to to charge in sideways...

I had wondered similar things, and my answers were the same as in this thread, so yay!

Knights in Combat *Note: AFAIK the unit can combine the attacks; get the Firefight EA+1 First strike when charging and do the rest of the attacks as Close Combat From my reading of the rules, I believe it is even worse - Knight Errants in base contact can actually choose to use their 2 x 5+ MW FF i...

But the curved "30cm from board edge" is the generally accepted limit for objective placement?

To really teach that dead horse who is boss.. I whipped up a diagram showing my understanding.

Apparently only the French generally play with the "maybe deployment" areas?
