| Ok, a quick synopsis: Life is rich with opportunity at this time. This is the brutal time of the year as far as work goes and there's not a lot I can do about that. Real Life (tm) has also made it challenging (death in wife's family, end of school year), the "new" American economy, etc. So... |

Rumours of my demise have been slightly exaggerated.
Real Life (tm) has been filling my cup, but honestly, I had stopped checking back on the site very early April and that's about when the tsunami hit. More in another post.
But I am back. |

Look, we are not making radical changes to the list because of one game. In order to consider large changes multiple games against different armies by different people would have to take place.
Your game is one data point. |

Quote: In all honesty, everyone gets tanked in their first game against necrons. You need a few games before you understand their weaknesses.
Hey don't feel bad. I got "tanked" my first game with Necrons. Second one was better. |

| Assuming I could get the Stalker into a list I am building (looks over at Frogbear ), I'd actually try proxy it with a Defiler and two auto-cannon arms. Seems like it would be pretty cool looking...actually, now that I think about it, that may be the Desecrator. Nevermind. I've just got legs ... |

Yep, I'd jump all over those. They look very nice. |

| Quote: I disembark so that the entire disembarked infantry stand is within 5 cm of the vehicle. So no stretching. Ditto for us. Basically, no part of the unit(s) may extend beyond the max. Excellent report and I really weeped for the termies. They should have left a slag heap of wraithbone wh... |

| Quote: Dobbsy and I agreed on a Transport ability of '2' for these guys with Berserkers counting as 2 units. So in effect, the Bloodpack will become 4 Berserkers and 4 Slaughterfiends while a Chosen unit of 4 will have 2 Slaughterfiends. Well, not too excited about that change as I thought th... |

Wow! I'm really loving the IW's, not that I don't think the Necs look good, but the IWs are really standing out. Good basing sure does make a difference.
Keep up the great work! |

| Sorry, just saw these comments... Quote: Sounds like a really fun game. Note the above comment suggests the Orca stayed on-board at the end of turn #1 and left at the start of turn #2 - - - presumably it actually flew on again in turn #2, collected something and left in the end-phase (possibly... |

| Excellent progress FB! I too wanted to do a chain inspired flail device, but at the end of all the fiddling, I couldn't seem to reconcile how it would be able to do anything given the size of the claws in front. That was why I settled for metal tentacles as I could imagine them whipping out and gras... |

Carnage flight

Now I'm off to the next big chunk...a full Berzerker formation with Blood Slaughterers.
Cheers, |
