any special abilities that affect the formation’s action or rally test (farsight, supreme commander, etc.) may be used, but only on the unit’s formation When the spaceship activates, the supreme commander is not part of their formation. When an aircraft activates, the supreme command is part of the... |

I would have thought the Heavy Dragoons should have Armour 5+ and the light Dragoons only Armour 6+. Thanks for the feedback. The 6+ save Heavy Dragoons and 5+ light were for two reasons: 1. Balance. I wanted the two flavours of dragoon to be the same price but thought that the 45cm AT shot would b... |

Warhounds are armed with VMB and PBG.
Realised I'm using both my sets of T/bolts at the event, I do have lightnings if fighters are needed though. |

I have an army problem... could anyone help loan me some models? Preferably 1k or so of tyranid infantry to supplement what I have or failing that a Warhound and a Thunderbolt formation. I’ve been painting up tyranids and could get around 2,000 points done by the tournament. I’ve been planning to j... |

One area for stress testing is the teleporty storm troopers. We need to make sure that teleportation scouts don't suck the air out of the game for the opponent. I suspect not, just we should validate that aspect. Teleporting scouts should not cause too much of a problem as they still have to be pla... |

Gargant Gargant Supa Stompa Supa Stompa Supa Stompa Supa Stompa Fightas 4x extra armer upgrades and 50 point left for other upgrades This has the possibility of 6 near Gargant class titans being on the table with all having Gargant class weaponry. The only solutions I can think of other than the +1D... |

Very enjoyable game, I can see this being a popular army at events. I do agree with Simon on the "extra armer" upgrade. d3 extra DC feels too good for 75 points as along with the extra DC and survivability it brings you also get a unit that is harder to break and gains assault/support bonu... |

Rules question from a tournament game this Saturday: –Landa with mob air assaults marine scouts on overwatch (taking AP and AT shots due to razorback, so both the boyz and the lander are allocated hits). –Orks take a BM from coming under fire from overwatch, but are counted as 1 formation for the a... |

Misread the post , realised you were stating you do not have to have a LOS to your own formation if it loses an engagement to receive a BM. |

the rule is clear enough I guess but it doesn't follow its own design notes where it says "these Blast markers represent the detrimental effect on morale of seeing friends defeated in an assault." because the rule doesn't require the supporting unit to have any LOS to the defeated target ... |

The rule your looking for is 1.12.8, highlighted relevant parts. 1.12.8 Loser Withdraws After the result of the combat has been worked out (either because all defending units were destroyed, or the attack stalled, or through a result roll), then the loser is broken and must withdraw , and formations... |

Hello, I have a question regarding the correct order for summoning daemons with multiple summoning units when using the commander ability. As per the Chaos rules, daemon summoning is done when selecting a unit, before activation roll is made. With the commander rule therefore, would the correct ord... |

Advice please - what do people think is the best close combat weapon for a long range Blitzguard Reaver? I'm torn between the +3 MW Chainfist or the +2 TK(D3) Powerfist. I'll probably paint them up before testing them out. I'd recommend the Powerfist as ,for me, it would be a bit more of a deterren... |

That said, I'd be quite happy to see a single really long-range, or solid indirect fire option available.something like that in limited quantities (perhaps available at one per Gargant) opens up a few choices on how to play rather than simply slapping more flyers onto a problem which, for me, makes... |
