Now in the AT18 world we shall have to see what type of longevity this game has. They could easily get the Reavers/Warhounds out, another couple of terrain bits, perhaps maybe some Chaos warped parts (for full on Terra level Heresy) and call it good and that's all we ever see of it. I guess a combi... |

I also like that the Imperators are different. One has more spires on the top, the other has more blocky buildings. :D Imperator S . There's two of them (look to the right left [edit: don't post at 4 in the AM pre-coffee ::)] , there's another walking in) I expect a really nice unboxing post from yo... |

Few other comments after some more digesting. You can present a flexible option to the formations by just having the core size and the "add extra stands" upgrade options. A simple "add up to 4 extra stands" for the Bezerkers and Thunderers gives you plenty enough room to expand f... |

I like a bit of where it is going, harking back to 2nd ed days is a good thing. Don't think I ever remember seeing the exoarmour squats as a separate unit back in 2nd ed days, think they were only there as upgrades or special characters. That's not to say that it wouldn't work as piling a load of ex... |

No no...It shall always be called the kitchen sink :P Yes, it is a kitchen sink list, it does what it says on the tin If we start calling it Ultramarines then eventually it will become the Ultramarines list and everyone will want to put it through NetEA and that will just be bad all round with endl... |

I know its not a super duper official list or anything, but after pestering Jimmy and getting some files, I am working updating and tidying up the Kitchen Sink list. If anyone has a better name for it than "Kitchen Sink", then let me know. I might call it "Codex Ultramarines" fol... |

Picked up two of the flak towers and they look sweet. Going to build one as is and see about kit bashing the second one with some other Wasteland bits. |

I may as well throw my thoughts into the pot. Would we consider dropping the navy units completely and bringing in the newer marine fliers which are a core part of the army list these days (Storm Talon, Storm Raven, Storm Hawk) It would be nice to see marines look something like they do now post 201... |

Part of this harks back to the fact that the marine list is still structured like it was back when EA was released in 2003 (3rd edition 40k era) and the reluctance to give it an overhaul. If you look at the newer EA army lists, their fliers are all included in the 1/3 pts section, so it would make s... |

ONE thing that 40k got right was the concept of units capable of taking ground (sorry early and can't remember the name of the rule). Basically it's a 'core-like' unit that is able to be used to hold objectives though anything can contest. Basically a mech tactical company holds ground in a marine ... |

Mole mortars were developed by squats and sold to the imperium. With the squats being eaten by the nids they used that to explain why you don't see them anymore. Kreig use a similar weapon called a mole launcher, which is basically a shoulder mounted missile launcher which they point at the ground t... |

Obviously this time of year people are tight on funds, but I will definitely be looking to pick some stuff up next year when it hits retail. |
