Shockingly, I am still alive. I've spent 3-4 seasons per year, for the past 7 years or so, coaching soccer. I took a break almost a year ago to kind of catch up on life. One of the clubs called me a couple weeks ago asking me to take over a team, so I'm going back at it soon. I've pretty much switch...

Hey folks: I was just looking at 6.1.2, I have some concerns. I haven't played in a long time and I'm going from memory so take this all with a big grain of salt. However, some of this list raises my eyebrows. Fearless Rubric : Replacing the Rubric rule with RA/Fearless seems questionable from both ...

Hey everyone:

I thought I'd posted a while back but I can't find it now ...

Is anyone going to GenCon this year (assuming it's not impacted by covid)? This will be the first time I've gone in 3 decades.

This reminds me of a "Travel Space Hulk" that one of the guys came up with many, many years ago. 6mm terminators and genestealers Graph paper map pieces (1/4", iirc) Minis and maps mounted on magnetic sheets (hole-punch circles for the minis) small dice wide, flat tin for container an...

Whoa. That's a pretty big difference in the pics.

Out of curiosity, is there any forumware doing chaos titans or after-market conversion bits?

I'm sure this has been discussed extensively. However, in my brief dig I wasn't able to find a good summary review. How do the AT18 minis look with EA? From the pics I found it looks like they would probably be fine if they were the only war engines but they might throw the compressed scale off if t...

Brief moment of vertigo when I thought Primarch was selling minis.

Better now.

Awww, crap. I started a post and went to do something for work and timed out without realizing it. Lost it all. Quick recap: Neophytes - For a Scout, area denial formation, I would always take the Icon. 200 points is 9 scouts with 2x Leader for solid rallying. Probably okay but worth trying to power...

Thanks for all the greetings, guys. I'm not planning on coming back in hard core but it's nice to check in and see how everything is going.

BTW, I'm fairly impressed with the forum-ware options.

When I checked the GW site and saw all the new Tzeentch stuff, I was definitely excited to see if anything new had been incorporated. Not too shabby, guys. I have a few questions and comments. Neophytes - Is 9 scouts for 175 not potentially abusive? I know they don't have range but it's 9 scouts. Th...

Awesome! Thanks so much, guys. Maybe the "2016" was an army reference that I misread. There were several lists that I thought could have made it by this point. So many seemed close. SM - Raven Guard and Black Templars had been getting a lot of testing. IG - Always popular, I would have tho...

It's alive! http://hellonwheels.com.au/bmxshop/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/alive.jpg In a bit of synchronicity Dave emailed me the other day, shortly after I'd had to dig though a bunch of my GW stuff, and then another friend contacted me about more GW stuff. I thought I'd check in. I saw the NetEA T...

I also don't seem to use Warbikes very well. I tend to take them with one buggy for dropping Blast Markers, but they tend to not do much. I should probably try to keep them on the extreme flank perhaps? They really only seem to do well against softer support targets. In general, I'd say a 200 point...

so would a untouched (not deployed in the game yet) formation would have the 4BM from the broken leviathan ? Not exactly. As Ginger says, each formation would track its own BMs separately. However, for the duration of the combined assault, they are a single formation and all the BMs stack. So, you'...
