What a day. Despite being a tad sleep deprived Salute was a lot of fun. Good to meet you E&C, hope I was still vaguely coherent whilst I was talking to you. Loved your 'medium' tank, very cool. ;) Good to see Paul again and catch up with a few other people I rarely see too. Not so many bring n b... |

If you are in the UK where getting Simple Green is a bit of a faff, you can give simple household Dettol a go instead. Its super cheap and has worked very well on some plastic and metal minis I've stripped recently. The scrubbing stage is a bit messy, but it takes the paint off and isn't toxic like ... |

Amazing. I love the visuals the Mandelbrot set produces and these 3D renders are just as bizarre and wonderful. Some more great high-res images on the link, lovely.

Finished the champion figure. Worst model of the bunch imo (well that's my excuse for the mistakes). The hands and weird arm position just don't do much for me, I like the unusual helmet though. He looks better from behind. ;) I carried the colours through from the leader, keeping the purple restrai... |

The whole gang are nearly done, but I finished Eza this evening and thought you'd like to see him first. Using my desklamp as a lightsource so sorry for the slight glaryness. Although there are areas for improvement, I'm pretty happy how he turned all in all; it was great fun to paint; using purple ... |

Oh man... hilarious stuff. One of my favourite quotes; Quote: Steve: It's awesome thinking about some British dude drawing this picture and thinking, "Yeah, this is awesome. This is cool as hell. Check out what I just drew guys. Come look at this cool picture." excellent. G |

More more more! still on a massive nostalgia trip here, so its more 28mm I'm afraid! These Orcs are from one of the original Regiments Of Reknown, The Mother Crushers, led by Eza Ugezod (I love the old puntastic names)! I much prefer figures on round bases, and am planning to bring the odd little gr... |

I've had my red pen out CS, been scribbling a few notes on my copy which I'll chat to you about next time we meet up. Mostly pretty minor things, typos, possible revisions to text to make explanations clearer, that kinda thing. I do feel that getting some decent diagrams sorted out soon would make c... |

Bump up from the depths - I've finished something!  Here we go, the RT era Orks I posted before are now all done! I do like the newer, more savage and serious style GW has taken with the Orks, but these old models just have a certain character and charm that is all too rare these days. I love th... |

The chunky FW buildings are rather inefficient in the way I imagine they were moulded and poured; they'd have made for easy moulds to fill and pull, but if you made a mould with a plug (either silicone, part of the mould, or a waxed metal/plastic rod for example) that takes up part of the 'interior'... |

These are just lovely!
Beautiful work on the camo as everyone else has said; your bases and detailing are great too; the brighter foliage and grass really makes them pop out and stops them being too drab.
Keep up the good work! |
