Please make those 15mm Hellborn Demons in your previews available soon! I have been looking for some good demon troops for my 15mm Kings of War Dark Elves, and I would buy some of them in a heartbeat, as they would be perfect.

Yeah, I need to update this with the Tau army I have finished, and then it's onto either Chaos Marines, or Eldar.

Looks quite similar to what I am doing with my games of Epic: Armageddon. I am just getting into Epic, and the collector's prices are driving me crazy. So my Titans, Gargants, Stompas and Knights are actual models, but all the troops are represented with repurposed vassal sprites. I find it best fit...

As cool as I think revenant as a Wraithguard with Dire Avenger head looks, it still seems like you would end up with a Revenant that's larger and bulkier than a Reaver, which kinda seems too big, especially compared to the old-school Revenant design. It's a hard one, because the conversion looks so ...

I went back and forth with my paper sprite minis between rectangular and the old-school squares, and for some reason the rectangles just look better to me. I kind of think the squares have the five minis smooshed too close together and they look like more of a mob than a formation. The Onslaught bas...

For instance, here's some Ork "conversions". Excuse the bad quality, I use packing tape to seal the tokens, so I have to fight the glare of the desk lamp. The Gunwagons are a hack of Chimera and some Leman Russ bodies, with Leman Russ tread sections turrets/cannons, with some alterations. ...

Are you using the vassel sprites from the 40k mod? The Epic ones had some funny stuff done to them when converting... Yeah, I am using the 40K ones. They are basically image files I scrounged all over the internet to find (lots of them using Google Image searches). The funny thing is that originall...

Tonight's update is how I tackled sprite-based aircraft. I figured that flat tokens would be a very underwhelming way represent aircraft, so I can up with a solution to make them "2.5 Dimensional". I made some simple flight stands with plasticard and some styrene tubes, and to make easy st...

I can send some stuff you you, PM me with your address. The only oddball thing is that at the level of pixelation I am working with, a few of the units have to be printed at a different size to come out at what I feel is the "right" scale, because if you simply resize the units, the pixels...

Thanks for the kind words. One of the biggest reasons I came up with this idea is that 1: I am basically the games mascot for my little group of friends. And 2: as much as I love assembling and painting miniatures (I have for 20 years now), I typically can get a couple of buddies (or the wife) to pl...

So we all know how expensive Epic can be now that it' a collectors market. I decided to go with a harebrained scheme of mine, where I got the idea to use the sprites for Vassal 40K to make 2-D units for my games of Epic. I knew with my gamer ADD I would never be able to commit to one or two armies, ...

I totally forgot that a Supa-Stompa was ever produced for Epic:A. I am building up an Ork force and am planning on using an old Epic Mekboy Gargant with a gun in place of the third arm like I have seen many people use, because it mimics the look of the plastic Stompas I am using. Plus, they are more...

Ok, thanks! For some reason the stats were bewildering me. Probably inexperience, and I was having a hard time visualizing how the powerfist was performing a ranged attack (do Eldar titan powerfists have an in-build set of ranged weapons? I am not as schooled in Eldar titan fluff.)

Hey guys. For some reason I am having trouble puzzling out the weapons listings for Eldar Phantom and warlock titans. All the various sections of the different damage listings has me a bit confused. It seems like the damage lines for Pulsars and the Missile Launchers are pretty simple for a 2x pulsa...

As a new player building an Ork force, I was just about to ask whether anyone had come up with a good way to use Kommandos when I saw this post. Currently I can't see any good reason to use Kommandos alongside a standard warband formation, as the situation makes their abilities pretty under-utilized...
