Gamerz Depot is sponsoring an Epic tournament on October 18th. The tournament will start at 10 am and will run 3 or 4 rounds, depending on the number of entrants. More details will be posted in the next few weeks. |

WOW ... a 'warm' topic here. The thread was setup to address a specific issue ... the use of aircraft position and arc of fire to 'snipe' specific units by making the them "closest unit" and therefor the first unit vulnerable to fire. It appears most everyone is offended by the 'sniping' aspect of whatever the rules might allow. As with Neal, I have not seen the tactic of an A/C passing over a number of units to utilize the limitation of weapons arc used a lot ... or, at least, have not seen it used for sniping. James has a... |

Corey has been schooling me that the primary issue is the Tau can create a formation which cannot be assaulted except under special circumstances ... which include air assault. I understand the theoretical possibility and how the tactics work. I always seem to be facing air assualts and ... |

Sorry, Neal, I am unconvinced there is any real problem with the current wat Jet Packs work. ?I am concerned with any change which does not allow them to avoid an assault ... which is the whole point. The questions related to intermingled are easy to resolve ... declare assault and intermingled ... ... |
