Hello. I am not dead. I have been slowly chipping away at this project over the past year, though I'm still nowhere near done.

Here are some semi-recent presentable glamor shots:

Not quite following. None of those lines have a 2x out in front, so they all have a single weapon of those listed. Is the "and" confusing you? E.g. the battlesisters have a heavy flamer that grants an ap4 shot as well an IC on their FF attack. Or is it just because the names are plural? I...

Could I ask for a clarification in the unit stats? A lot of the infantry units seem to have multiple heavy and special weapons per stand indicated. For example, Battle Sisters have "Heavy Flamers," Dominions have "Meltaguns" and Retributors have "Heavy Flamers" and &quo...

*As a minor tangent, Dave is entirely correct that the EA default if you don't agree on something else is that you measure from model to model, but this includes measuring to individual infantry models on bases and is very much something to discuss during the five minute warm-up. For what it's wort...

Just curious how many people base their vehicles, and how they do it. I bought some 1.5mm plasticard sheets with the intention of cutting custom rectangular bases out of them. I'm toying with either 25mm x 35mm, 25mm x 40mm, or 30mm x 40mm for my tanks. A thought I had: is basing purely for aestheti...

I'm genuinely excited for finishing these. I think I've nailed my vehicle painting process, although I might still up the contrast with brighter edge highlights on the black components. I've got some basing materials and weathering powders inbound, but otherwise these 8 Rhinos are pretty much comple...

I'm not sure if they're working as intended given these white metal miniatures are nowhere near as smooth as plastic, That shouldn't cause a problem – almost all of my use of contrast has all been on white metal (minis from a range fo eras and sources) and it works fine. Black templar I find needs ...

Got some painting done today! I primed my Spartas / Rhinos with Vallejo white primer through an airbrush. I bought a few contrast paints to try them out because I heard they work great for 6mm. I'm not sure if they're working as intended given these white metal miniatures are nowhere near as smooth ...

I'm putting together a Sisters of Battle force for EA and wanted to share my assembly and painting progress in a thread! I'm using mainly Vanguard Novan Convent miniatures and my order arrived a few weeks ago. Here's everything all laid out when I first took it out of the box: https://i.imgur.com/yU...

This is exciting! I've been eyeing your Stygian miniatures for a while now but a lot of the inventory is out of stock. How long until you're up and running 100% again?
