Hi guys, does anyone have a single Unclean One and a single Bloodthirster from the old Warhammer days? These are a little bigger than the Epic40k era Eldar Avatars, and not the same size as their larger SM1/SM2 era models. I can try to find pics, but if you have these, you know what I am talking abo... |

Not the plastic Epic Space Marine era, but the Epic 40k metal versions. Would love two different weapon mounts, but I'll take what I can get.
I have $$$! |

Really only want unpainted models... these guys are too fragile to strip.
If you only have a portion, let me know too. I know I prob have to go to several sources to get all these.
Oh, just realized I'll need two Exarch models too.
Thanks! |

I have wanted one of these since I first saw it on GW's site back in the day, but it got pulled before I could buy it. I have regularly seen them go for well over $100 USD on Ebay over the years, so didn't pursue it. I just finally won one on ebay for about $60 MIB, and I have to admit I really like... |

Well, as many of have been in the hobby for quite some time now and have seen several different Epic systems, there is no doubt that each has their own ideas how a game should play, how armies should fight, and how game mechanics should work. And then there are serious gamers and not-serious gamers.... |

I remember when the Eldar were released, and how upset I was that you could no longer get the crew for the heavy weapons. Despite being pictured in all the mini photos too! Apparently it was so upsetting I eschewed painting Eldar for 20 years... Yeah I never understood how they just didn't make som... |

Just realized while painting some minis last night that Epic 40k was released in 1997, and that this game was 20 years old!
Wow time flies.
Crazy how Epic has been part of our lives for so long. |

On the topic of AT/SM1/Epic 1E, I've heard that in the end the rules became a bit unmanageable through the large number of documents they were in (as oft happens!). Is there some kind of compilation? Are those bits beyond the original AT book worth having? Yeah the early days of Epic and 40k Rogue ... |

So the discussion of the Eldar Guardians with heavy weapons made me reflect back on AT/SM1 a bit, and how amazing the details of combat could be. I know some might see it as excessive dice rolling, and believe me, I know first hand how this system could drag out big games into taking multiple days t... |
