It looks like people starting to get their Warpath minis now. Have to say most of them look great! I'm very much looking forward to checking out the ruleset, which looks fairly streamlined (no doubt partly due to Mr Cavatore's involvement). I've gone for Plague and Forge Fathers as starter sets and ...

The Epic Armageddon tournaments will continue as is. Might lose some players but gain others - hard to know overall if numbers will increase or decrease. Will aim to have tournament usable lists in time for the 30k factions too. I expect some other people will start running LC tournaments too I wou...

Lylekelm - from what I have read recently in announcements the release has been pushed back, likely to around August now. I believe they have said some unavoidable delays with manufacturing/logistics. I sculpted like 95% of the vehicles for this range. Looking forward to seeing them released. Wow! F...

I got a chance to see the minis at Salute a few weeks ago and I would say they are 10-12mm. In practice, I think they would be visually indistinguishable scale-wise from Legions Imperialis miniatures, but would probably be a bit big alongside classic GW Epic infantry. I've backed for the rules and t...

A quick follow-on from the above. A friend and I are recreating "seige of Vraks" in Epic scale, he DKoK and myself the Rebel/Chaos forces. With maybe a view to attending some of the Epic GT events he will be sorted with the Krieg army list, but is there a good comparator of approved tourna...

Just a quick update on the event. Firstly, the positives: We managed to collect over £300 for the Brain Tumour Trust. Although we didn't have many attendees I think those that did come had fun (we had some specially prepared, very irreverant scenarios all relating around bacon butties) and a raffle ...

Just a quick post to see if anyone on the forum is planning to get the new Mantic Epic Warpath release later this year? I saw a few of the miniatures at Salute last year (hoping there will be a few more demoing in a few weeks) and was impressed, and the rules in particular seem like a 'modern' quick...

Thanks Mattie.

I must say, I have very little experience of this. What would you say is a good 'ball park' figure? It will be a while away, but I can report results.

We are playing just casual campaign play, not tournament, so as long as is not really badly mismatched we probably won't notice :)

Hi folks - just a quick post to say many thanks to the people that wrote this list and playtested it for use. A friend and I are planning on playing a 'Seige of Vraks' campaign and I was delighted to see that the E:A community has already made these :) A quick question - what would the suggested poi...

That is really good to hear Deb and glad you have managed to pad out the event and get a good number of attendees. Perhaps Australian wargamers have a bit more patience to play the game than those of us in the UK? ;) I'll be interested to hear how the game functions in a competitive setting. The onl...

Not to put words into the mouth of General Practice, but re. the army compositions we used to find that certain units were so powerful (or perhaps even undercosted) that they made their way into every game. Land Raider Companies and Wind Rider Hosts would fall into that category for sure, and Devest...

Interesting to read your comments Deb. I am very much of a mixed mind with Legions. On the one hand, I love that it has brought Epic scale back into the spotlight and we have this lovely range of new minis. On the other hand, it is possibly one of the most inaccessible games that I have ever played!...

Hey guys - a quick post about a charity Epic Legions Imperialis narrative event in the UK in March 25. I am sure everyone has heard the sad news relating to Paul Sawyer (co-founder of Warlord Games and ex-editor of White Dwarf) and his medical diagnosis. The event is named in his honour and known lo...
