So I've been toying with an idea for Adeptus Titanicus that I'm looking at adapting for Epic: Armageddon as well. I know we have the tournament scenario, which works well for balanced forces in set-piece battles. I've been working on designing an umpired narrative campaign weekender for AT, which le...

Sooo... last update was mid-puttywork on the conversion beamer. Yeah... I kinda got carried away over the last few weeks. So, here's what it looked like once I got the rivet decals down: IMG_1511.jpg And here's the finished product in all its glory: IMG_1827.jpg IMG_1829.jpg IMG_1830.jpg And while I...

Ahhh yes Battlefleet Galaxy are ace. I knew i'd seen that one before. super swish! You're pretty far into this conversion it appears but we did a nice printable carapace beamer on the facehole group. Probably long past the point of no return for you though :) Really? I missed that one completely. A...

you switched to printing now on your fleet? what are you using for your infantry bases? I historically used VGM 25mm rounds but they chamfered them now so I don't want those anymore Sorry, only just saw this! Those two ships are special cases, as it were. I still have a hoard of Battlefleet Gothic ...

One last post, and then I'm caught up on the last year's painting, and can get back to the current stuff. The Iron Warriors got some more love too, with another 4 Havoc squads painted and 8 Iron Warriors Assault Marine formations painted up. I only have a WIP shot and these guys are in storage curre...

So yeah, sometimes you just need to burn stuff. IMG_0790.jpg IMG_0791.jpg Not a lot of conversion here, and this would probably fight in Epic as a Reaver with a Plasma Destructor & Carapace Multilasers, TBH, but it's a fun assault gun build in AT if your opponent's down with it. Now, about the W...

nice to see some Storm Lords! Always loved the original 2nd Edition scheme; they're always going to be the "main" Legio and get all the toys first, as I paint stuff up. Speaking of which, more graviton cannon & conversion beamers! This time, the Reaver & Warhound versions: IMG_992...

So I lost access to my Photobucket, and I don't particularly feel like paying their absurd prices for hosting, but apparently Blogger will let me host images! So here's me restarting my hobby blog and making an attempt at cross-linking from it so I can update Taccoms ;) I'll start with a little more...

Folder Link: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/14Y0s2YhSgSbfFBL6-O7fshuo-rfq7De4?usp=sharing ... I think I want to get a few more games in over the next couple of months against a variety of opponents to really test out the things I'm considering changing so far, and get to a go/no-go decision...

Not necro if it's your own (post-COVID?) playtest thread ;) So I've managed to get a couple of games in with my desired playtests over the past month, on top of a one or two small games late last year before everything shut down again, and I've made a few changes to my proposed changes. Folder Link:...

Looking over the playtest proposal & suggested changes, I'm interested and inclined to give this a try. Biggest problem with the existing approved list is the relative cost of a full 10-strong Leman Russ tank company, which tended to drive players to loading up on SHT companies instead to open u...

Still need to get some paint onto these tiles, but for that it needs to either stop raining, or stop being so terribly humid down here on the weekends. Working on assembling another round of tiles & components for the city board. Latest additions include 4-way elevation ramps (yes, not realistic...

At least I won't be dragging it six hours from central PA anymore. This is going to be a beast to transport. It's going to take at least two large tubs to move a full 4x6' setup around - I guess that's one advantage the Citadel RoB boards have over going for depth on the tabletop. On the bright side...

Yep, exactly what it sounds like. I picked up a set of modular tiles from Uncertain Scenery a little over a year ago. They got sidelined by playing a couple of Kingdom Death campaigns with a buddy, and then COVID and a move, but after I wrapped up my latest two titans for AT, I was sitting at the st...

Thanks guys :) Finished up the Warlord & Reaver I was working on, along with some plasma weaponry for them: https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51213778110_98c47ea222_z.jpg Happy with how they turned out. Getting back to my Knights for AT while I wait on some armor to come in for the Imperial Gu...
