Well, not the best debut for the orks that I worked on for 2 years and fielded for the first time.

However, after the battle Mr. B. was seen digging him self free from the trygon who ate him.

He will be back...

And he will bring a battle plan next time...

A very useful battlereport. I was thinking the same army build with Steel Legion. Massive hordes of autocannon and FF. Garrison up in the middle and advance slow and purposefully. Until I read this report through, I wasn't sure if infantry horde would work, and now here we are: it not just works, b...

Btw: where is the tournament held? If you are living in the deep south of Sweden close to Copenhagen, you could investigate the (growing?) epic environment in DK. We have tournaments and events 2-3 times a year and Swedes are very much welcome. Take a closer look at: http://www.powerfist.dk/forum/in...

Consequently the answer to that FAQ with respect to Eldar should read "Eldar formations that fail an activation to enter the table through a Wraithgate may use a 'Hold' activation to regroup off-table and remove BMs. However a Necron Formation . . . . Is the eldar really so underpowered that t...

Agree with Neal. As I read the Necron FAQ its supporting this. "If my Phalanx formation fails to activate, can I choose to regroup off-board as opposed to just moving onto the board? A:No. A formation in reserves may only take actions which involve moving onto the board. If it is prevented from...

...but if the speeders are to be included in a blue marine army in the Copenhagen area, I would strongly recommend a mix of all available types of speeders. Just to make the formation flexible and all ;)

I normally use 2*5 MM. The speeders are fast enough to get them in support range for an engagement in every turn except perhaps sometimes the first, and in the FF role I prefer the MW ability to deal with the targets that are not easily harmed with bolter and chainsword. The MW FF on a fast skimmer ...

I've got to say though, seeing your reports you really need new dice. I don't typically have the difficulty you seem to have activating units which does contribute a different outlook on the list I think. :) In the most recent game the dices were ok. I had the advantage in all four combat resolutio...

For a nicely in depth discussion of the formation go to: http://www.tacticalwargames.net/taccmd/viewtopic.php?f=74&t=22567 :-) We covered most of the bases there! You should take an art.co. if you think it look cool or if you like the feeling of placing three templates over you enemy’s position...

Thanks for the report! Poor Colossi.... they just can't seem to get a break but at least their overwatch killed a couple of stands. Although with this and the minorus it seems that both were pretty unsupported and open to attack. Forge Knights are typically mediocre. No surprise there. They are gre...

wow, that was truly amazing. It felt both very atmospheric and also very realistic - pretty much exactly how you'd expect a combined air and sea assault to go. Reminded me a lot of the D-day landings. Just futuristic :) Thanks! We put a lot of effort into making the scenario and the special rules a...

Stunning batrep. Loved the beach terrain and the landing craft. Are the landing craft Old Crow? I was tempted by them when I was working. And 2 nicely painted armies fighting a huge battle- truly Epic!! Thanks for sharing James Yes, the landing crafts and hoover crafts are from Old Crow. They have ...
