great idea, can see this porting over really well with the combined air-assault style assets, vehicles, etc (bit surprised to hear EA is like napoleonic combat? but onboard with clone wars!) Thanks! TBH I think they were generalizing from regular 40k a bit there, but hey it spawned a good idea. Cur...

Thanks Dave! I used to kinda dislike the "take any popular IP and insert it into popular wargame" but once I saw the potential ease of conversion here it became hard not to think it all out... The worst part is I now kinda want to sculpt gungans. invulnerable saves due to energy shields, f...

This is just a small personal project but I figured I'd share. A friend commented that epic armageddon really simulates more Napoleonic combat, with some nods to ww1 and 2. Within the same week, another friend commented about the same about the war in star wars clone wars. Now wetter or not you (or ...

Done a print of the new tankette, it looks a lot beefier but I think they would do fine together on the table, old and new model. I also did a test print of the older multi barrel turret for the heavy tank I did a while back. https://i.imgur.com/joB5X4Yh.jpg https://i.imgur.com/H7dfqgZh.jpg https://...

It's close, but the barrel clears the tracks, if just barely.

I think the Despot is open to the idea of doing both, as a mk1 and mk2 or early and late models or something like that.

I took some steps away from the tankette for a couple of days and then re-designed it with DasBilligeAlien's input. It looks a bit more robust but, to me at least, has a lot more character. https://i.imgur.com/ixMx0SLh.jpg https://i.imgur.com/RePVLrDh.jpg https://i.imgur.com/86ckkRTh.jpg https://i.i...

I should re-iterate, not my sculpts! I was blown away by them as well, and the guy just uploaded cadian troops as well, very well done. Lets hope he goes trough the entire epic line of forces sooner or later XD

well, this happened, https://i.imgur.com/W4y0qMZh.jpg https://i.imgur.com/7lPooCwh.jpg https://i.imgur.com/NqZjs3Eh.jpg And I actually slapped the first layer of some bold colors on the first 2 (turquoise and cream) but then pictures of AP knights started leaking out, and I think I decided to wait t...

Time for a small update! First of some sentinels, I did a quick CAD on these since there was nothing to my liking out there on the web. https://i.imgur.com/odkyZlFh.jpg https://i.imgur.com/C2HImMWh.jpg?1 Secondly there have been a couple of great sculpts of 6mm guard popping up on thingyverse, so I'...

Thanks for the responses guys, I'm not sold on it yet to be honest! It feels too real world possible, not enough stupid design decisions and character.

The Stahlritters are not screwing around. Apparently, when the Ritterskanzler declared he would stop at nothing to suppress the Desert Uprising in Aq’Selim al-Jabaat, he wasn’t kidding. Heavy tanks and IFV are acceptable, but bring in the tankettes and it's going too far? ;D You'll need to ask Biel...

Thanks guys!

I've always loved tankettes, I do cute tanks and they are already cute so its a no brainer that I would do one sooner or later.
