I've been writing some articles on Death of a Rubricist , if it's of interest. + Building a board + + Naming Titans + ...and if you're interested in following ongoing Adeptus Titanicus-themed inloads (i.e. articles), you can use this keyword link: https://apologentsia.blogspot.com/search/label/Adept... |

Regarding the new sizing, it's worth noting that the '8mm scale' idea came from an off-hand mention by the designers that a Space Marine would be 8mm tall at the scale; which means a regular human would be 6mm or so tall. There's been no scale change from old Epic models; rather a consolidation of t... |

Don't have the exact height, but assuming the oval base is 120mm in width:

Ha ha, true! People were asking on Facebook and Andy Hoare (who works for the Specialist Games team at GW) replied and confirmed the Knights are on 40mm bases. Having 40mm confirmed by Andy Hoare makes this a bit more useful for comparison: https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Pkf187OTBQw/Wvmrl1jlf2I/AAAAAAAA... |

I'm reliably informed that the base sizes are 120 x 92mm oval (Warlord); 90 x 52mm oval (Reaver); 32mm round (Knights). As a help for visualisation, this blog has a good summary of the bases current GW models are supplied with. For anyone concerned about using older models, there's lots in the backg... |

I [...]would like to see [...] the return of the lascannon (or more correctly these days bright lance) wing weapon option. I think trading in one of the missile launcher wings for an improvement in AT is a reasonable option in some cases. Agreed; another option is always welcome. It means the Eldar... |

Thanks for the report PFE100 – interesting result, and most importantly to me, the army looked like an Iyanden one from the background. The smaller formation size seems to it the background better, making the formations more brittle. I thought the Init drop from 1+ to 2+ and a more restrictive "... |

The Army Champions are in charge of making decisions, but those are based on data generated by the community. Some are very motivated and post up suggestions for testing. Others are more passive. However, I've always felt it's putting the cart before the horse if people to wait for the AC to give th... |

Random thought: When we finally get our plastics out, we could do a starter game set? An excellent idea, and the list you give looks pretty comprehensive to me. Personally, I'd restrict it to purely plastic if you're intending to use it as a gateway into the game. You've got the basics on the sprue... |

I'd love to see a 10mm version of Epic Space Marine set in the Horus Heresy – a nice nod to the old-timers, without impinging on modern 6mm Epic. Perhaps based on Calth, to allow a genuine red vs blue game, with lots of opportunity for cool complete plastic armies akin to the wüunder-sprue in Epic: ... |

I like the 2+ Initiative suggestion. Going back to earlier discussion, could I suggest that one way of solving the 'Wraithguard formations are too good in general' problem by changing the formation composition to a fixed mix of 3 Wraithguard and 3 Wraithblades? I'd like to see the Wraithknight make ... |

I can see where Ginger's coming from here – the Codex Astartes list is characterised by being fairly constrained, with few options in general (compared to orks, for example), in order to keep the formations tightly focussed and forcing the player to pick particular 'ready-made' (Codex-adherent, in-u... |
