Warcasters? There appears to be a great deal of variety amongst them, some look like close combat monsters and others appear to be more support orientated. Given my current opponents (Cygnar and Khador) does anyone have any suggestions? By the sounds of it the sooner i get into combat the better so ... |

Have just started playing Warmachine and am building up a Cryx force and was wondering if people had any suggestions regarding what works best for this faction. At present i'm playing against Khador and Cygnar. i've got the basic force box (Slayer,2 Deathrippers,a Defiler, and Deneghra.) and a Levia... |

As has already been stated the BaneLord was originally a Khornate Warlofd Titan (it first appeared in White Dwarf 164, a long, long time ago ) For some unknown reason it has become the name for any generic Chaos Warlord Titan. The weapon load out was designed to reflect this, although fluff wise the... |

i've played a few games with the BL list using the different summoning values (7SP/8SP) and even my opponent is of the opinion that the cost for summoning should be 7 rather than 8. The unpredictability of summoning, the need for a Chaos Mark (bringing the factions rule into play), the associated cos... |

How old is the rule and how thoroughly has it been playtested ? What is the general consensus amongst non-Chaos players regarding its fairness/legitemacy? Is it unpopular or regarded as a reasnoble compromise compared to all Fearless armies (which isn't likely to be too popular with any opponent) ? |

There has been a fair amount of discussion regarding the Indomitable rule. Having read the posts i'm aware of what it does and how it works, but was wondering where the rule originated? i have gone through the various incarnations of the main rules but have found no reference to it anywhere. Has it ... |

Thankyou to those that responded, it has simplified things consideraby. The Defiler conversion shown is particularily good. i've found conversions for Epic to be much trickier than for 40K ,6mm scale is not very forgiving of mistakes and parts are harder to come by ( my epic bits box is about 100 ti... |

Although my xp isn't terribly extensive i have had reasnoble success without Forlorn Hope/Chosen formations. Under the current BL list there is pretty stiff competition amongst Elite formations in terms of choices. They are a cheap activation but a small formation of Raptors costs a similar amount a... |

i was wondering what people were using as defiler models? Does anyone know where i can find suitable models/proxies or failing that a decent guide to converting them? They appear to bring quite a lot to the table and look pretty useful, but the lack of model (or anything that vaguely resembles one) ... |

Are titan CCW's worth it? At present i'm in two minds about them, although i do not have a massive xp base to draw on and am referring primarily to Imperial/Chaos configurations. On the one hand they take up a weapon slot and require b/c to use which can be problematic due to the comparitively slow ... |

Creating new rules rarely works well, adapting pre-existing ones usually has a better result. If daemon engines vulnerability to blast markers is such an issue than perhaps using the 'They Shall Know No Fear' rule from the loyalists Space Marines is a possibility (although the points cost may need t... |
