My bad - I meant to disagree with you saying being able to take more Land Raiders over and above those needed to transport 'was not intended'. I think that was clearly intentional in the waty it has been worded and you should view the extra ones as tanks not just pure transport vehicles. Still it do... |

The way the Epic UK list is written allows Terminators to take 4 Lands Raiders Crusaders if they want (I’ve been thinking of doing this for an upcoming tournament maybe). It’s no different from the Net-EA Codex Astartes list allowing Devestators to take up to 4 Land Raiders. Think of the extra empty... |

It's expensive but I sometimes run FW on foot + 3 Broadsides + Skyray. 475 points so usually your BTS but it can garrison and deploy the Broadsides in a triangle with the Skyray in the middle so that with hit allocation the first AV hit or ideally 2 goes on the tougher Broadside first. Being LV the ... |

Be great to see something done with the list! I have models for it and would like to play it and perhaps playtest it (albeit as a low priority I'm testing a 30k legion list sooner). The old list is seriously abusable and horribly broken due to it having loads of 15cm tanks that can garrison forward ... |

It's very different and heavily based on 2nd edition / Net Epic so I'll be skipping it and keeping playing Epic Amageddon myself. It'll definitely get 3 years or so of releases for definite as they design and plan further models that far out and will have them made already. Whether it keeps expandin... |

Are you also on the Specialist Games Discord? It's the new version of this forum basically, made by Cybershadow again and has 100 x the posts this place gets a day on average nowadays. This old forum will stay up for history and it's a great resource to search for old posts and discussions but peopl... |

t would nice to see a good run of the game for sale officially and for the game to be popular and bring some new blood in, even if just lasts a few years. Yeah even if it sells badly it's basically guaranteed to get a few years minimum of continued releases as they develop games and models 2-3 year... |

The Epic Armageddon tournaments will continue as is. Might lose some players but gain others - hard to know overall if numbers will increase or decrease. Will aim to have tournament usable lists in time for the 30k factions too.
I expect some other people will start running LC tournaments too |

Also is there an estimated time for the end of the first game? The accomodation I've booked (went for a different place than the uni that was slightly cheaper) asked roughly what time I would check in, which I'd do after the first game. Can't seem to see a schedule anywhere. |

Bought my ticket now.
So long as I can get them painted in time I'm planning on running a Krieg army with a truly impressive number of war engines |

Same! I like being able to play Epic Sisters of Battle, Gargant armies, Necrons, etc. 30k all the time doesn't appeal. Yeah Ryan's a good friend. Knowing him here here was one of the reasons I moved to Bristol when I came back to the UK. He doesn't play any more though as he sold off his wargaming m... |

Yeah stop by Sat if you can. It kinda is a 5th edition of epic really but same as 1st edition epic set back during the Horus Heresy only (and with no plans for xenos like orks or eldar this time). Supposedly GW stopped paying for the Epic copyright after stopping selling the last version several yea... |
