Thanks all! I'm no sure about snow, as it's the one I plan to use for my IG, and I'd like for all armies to have different bases (it'll help tell them apart when playing, too). Glyn, I'd give your suggestions a go as I think you're right, none of my options is optimal: the photos didn't come out too... |

Hi all. Finally started painting epic minis! yay! My first army is going to be Dark Angels, how original. Anyway, got a couple of tactical stands and a rhino done, and I was about to base them in scorched brown/desert yellow sand, but I noticed that the figure tends to disappear in the dark base (I ... |

Interesting. These look really cool. For my Blood Bowl teams, and generally for skirmish-level armies, I use a pistol case. I know it sounds weird (and I was slightly uncomfortable buying it), but basically it's a plastic case already lined with foam, and it fits the bill perfectly. It was quite che... |

Thanks guys that was exactly the kind of info I needed! I won't use any 3D/stl wizardry for my project, just plain old plasticard and green stuff + various bits, so weapons and other stuff will be done on a "what's in the bitz box" basis. But I wanted to be sure I wasn't going to build an army of Ba... |

Hi. I'm planning to start soon scratchbuilding some chimeras for IG, and I got measures out of the 40k versions, so I can create a nice template on the computer. Problem is, math's not my strongest asset, so to say, so I have no clue by how much I will have to scale them down for Epic. Any help? Tha... |

I'd also wanted to add my interest to the idea of Renedra's Epic compatible recessed bases, especially if they're going to have some with 4 recesses... One can dream, right? |

Hi Kajo, top stuff!
Does the guitar string keep its shape once bent, or do you have to douse it in glue or stuff to make it stiff? |

Those are really nice, Alex! Are they the FW ones right? Regarding Forgeworld, weren't they switching to a sturdier grey resin? I went to Warhammer World a couple of weeks ago and all the FW stuff there was grey, as opposed as the white-ish stuff I've seen in photos. Are Epic models cast on demand o... |

The main reasons for my aversion to metal are the fact that plastic is lighter, less likely to be damaged if it falls or during transport and the paint doesn't get chipped. To this can be added the ease of painting and conversion. I'm coming back to wargaming after 10 years of break, and I cannot be... |

Hi.
Does anyone know if the SM scouts and terminators in the SG section of GW's site plastic or metal? I'll need some, and I have a strict "plastic only" policy :-)
Thanks! |
